Decently sized for sure, generous cooking portion and the aluminum conducts heat evenly and quickly. Keep in mind it’s aluminum so don’t do any acidic soups but I love this thing for cooking 6 whole chickens at one for meal preps or doggie meals.

I haven’t used the pot yet, but I’ve cooked enough Low Country Boils to know it’s going to be a good pot. The only issue I can see is the strainer that comes with it is smaller than expected. I ordered a another size strainer. I’m hoping that solves the size issue.

Can be used as a steamer. Made 3 pieces of 2” x 2 “ x 1 1/2” deep expanded stainless steel (aluminum will also work). Place on bottom of pot in triangle. Works like a charm for steaming. The price was great. Sor far have steamed 70 lobsters and no idea of longevity. Pot is showing signs of problems

Had a large family event and pot became soft after about six 12 lb turkeys. Needless to say, it was not heavy enough to take the continuous heat required for a large batch. Not a bad pot, just be aware it is not meant for multiple batches at one go.
