I love these handles and the hardware that comes with them. Sadly, I have not put them on my Kayak just yet as I'm thinking of upgrading my kayak and don't want to put on the old one if I end up upgrading. But I can tell from having other similar products that these are made nicely. I prefer the plastic center handle attached with nylon webbing/strap material attached to plastic mounting bracket. I know some people prefer a solid piece, but there have been cases where I hit the handle and snapped the solid piece handle off, where the style of the NEW-Vi handles help prevent that sort of thing from happening. For me and my preferences, I love this style and like these handles a lot.

The handles on two of my kayaks, a Perception Pescador 12 and and Wilderness Systems Pungo 120 had seen better days.The good: These are pretty much exact replacements for the OEM handles. They look and feel just like the originals.The not so good: The hardware provided would not be adequate in my estimation. The screws provided were of the countersunk headed variety and would have pulled through in pretty short order. Plan on drilling out the holes a bit and installing proper 1/4" round headed stainless steel screws with washers. Also the included hardware was zinc-plated steel which has no place on a boat, especially one that ever sees salt water.Despite the lousy hardware, these are still good replacements. Just recycle the hardware already on your boat.

Nice carry handles for a kayak with all the hardware needed for installation. My most recent kayak purchase was a tandem sit-on-top, and it is very heavy, the problem was it only had one handle on one side, and one on the other side on opposite ends. In other words, it’s meant to be carried with two people. Well, I got this to take my dog out so I need to be able to load/unload, and carry it on my own. Yes it’s heavy, but I’m a weight lifter so I can handle it.These handles allowed me to install them where it makes the most sense for me personally. Install was pretty straightforward if you’re familiar with basic hand tools, including a drill. These handles seem like they will last just as long as the others that were included with the kayak. They are comfortable to grip, functional, and the black color matches the other handles. I say it’s a good value if it makes sense for your use.
