Advantages:

  • Our motor is made of solid and durable metal.
  • The perfect combination of rubber and rotor makes the internal structure more stable, and also reduces the vibration and noise when the engine runs.
  • The motor runs more quietly, with a high torque of 270oz in.
  • The coil uses pure copper enamelled wire to ensure that long-term operation will not lead to excessive engine temperature.
  • The rotor surface is coated with high-quality epoxy resin adhesive to isolate the adsorbed burrs on the rotor surface, more stable magnetic field and longer service life of motor.

Usage or Application

  • This products are widely used in engraving machine, printer, medical equipment, embroidery machine, stage lighting, textile automation, printing, packaging and other industries automation equipment.

I liked the sellers response to my inquiry. I'm going to buy 3 more.

Careful! The shaft is 8mm on the mounting side (which is non-standard). It's 1/4in on the back shaft. I can't use this motor.

Okay I have to explain my background why and how I know it's not what it claims to be!This stepper was used for a science project testing forces exerted by levers and gears! This stepper was used with a : DM542T DriverSo as we tested the stepper motor it's self to find out its actual hold forces. Was actually pretty huge in random outputs.... Sucks for a stepper. Seems certain areas of this stepp hold at different forces depending where the stepper lands on different windings. Which means they are not all wound identical. pretty bad for a stepper! we will get back to this in a minute! So I figured maybe the driver was not functioning correctly. We tried a second driver DM546 this time and the stepper still performed non consistent. We then resorted to old faithful TB6600 and as it made it musical vibrations of chaos like all TB6600 drivers do. Same results...... Kind of agervated at this point since we made everything 8mm to match this stepper only had 1/4 inch and 10mm shaft steppers at this point. we had an old nema 23 stepper that had bad bearings of identical size with 1/4 shafts and swaped out shafts bearings out of this one. Thing worked perfectly fine. ArgSo now wondering why this thing was not working correctly. You can actually see every other coils wound more then the last. Which not how stepper is wound inside! So pulled one of smaller coils windings off since trash at this point anyhow. Then pulled one of the larger coils windings off. 5 turns longer then last. That is a huge defect in a stepper and these should be pulled right away from shelfs. Sure if your doing a cnc project they may works and you wont notice it. cause they seen to track and run alright in the sense of how a CNC stepper would preform. Fact is they are not 270oz-in or even close to it. Actually 247-264oz-in depending on which coil sets it lands on cause of the poor quality control in making these motors. Seems pretty bad when you use mechanical robots to make an items and they come out like this.Just saying sure they work for a CNC project probably without any notice of defect. But they are defective! and this my point!

This was to replace a motor that I had used for 8 years that failed. It is the same part number, except the other one had an additional designation of "-PL14". So this one had an 8 mm shaft also, but was longer by 9 mm. I bought some 50 mm standoffs for Nema 23 motors and that worked fine. The shaft for the knob is 6.35 mm (1/4"). Actual handwheels in that size are hard to find and expensive. Since it is 1/4", you can buy and use nicely machined aluminum knob (and anodized) meant for stereo systems. They are cheaper anyhow.I bought a total of 3 motors - 1 to replace the failed motor and 2 spares in case the others also fail.
