This Neewer Super Clamp is one of the most secure clamps I have ever used. Not only does it have a two-inch clamp, but it also has three rotating guides that allow it to adjust to the contour of the desired surface. The clamp is manufactured with solid metal which gives it the stability you need to mount your camera, phone, tablet or other device and have the confidence that it will stay in place. Whether you’re using it on a moving platform or manipulating a device in place, this clamp will hold fast.I do find that it works best on regular-shaped surfaces (i.e. rectangular surfaces and round pipes). Odd-shaped surfaces, unless you can reach the flats on both sides, can tend to loosen as you tighten. If the symmetrical surface or flats are available within an inch of the edges, if will hold as tight as any, if not tighter.

The materials used in this clamp are of great quality and the grip is well made. The anodized aluminum alloy components are sturdy. The knobs aren’t as sturdy as some of the more expensive clamps (e.g. Manfrotto) but they do the job. The phone holder is cheap and it’s hard to adjust for bigger phone like the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The action camera mount adapter is OK. I like that this clamp is very versatile with its 1/4” and 1/8” threaded inserts and the built-in cold shoe mount.I’ve used this super clamp about 6 times in the past month and mostly used it to hold small video lights on various surfaces. I didn’t have any issues with the tightening knob coming off as some users reported. I love the double claw on one side of the clamp. It makes the clamp’s grip really strong and reliable. The pivoting mechanism of the claws works well, so the clamp easily adapts to the mounting surface’s geometry. The 2 ball heads work perfectly and give me good flexibility when positioning my video lights. The arms don’t drift at all.Overall, I’m very happy with this super clamp. The only thing I would change in this product is the very average phone holder. Considering its great quality, good overall performance and price, this Neewer super clamp is a good value.

I am very often impressed by brand NEEWER, as they so consistently outdo themselves, setting a higher bar for other photo-related product companies, their items are always so far removed from other international brands that offer cheaper quality products in North America. This super clamp option with a 3 inch dual ballhead arm and plenty of accessories, is no exception.The grip is supremely well built and the quality is easily on par with or better than anything offered by other notable "brand" names. There are not one, but two clamp feet built in on either side, to provide an extra firm grip on whatever you have this unit attached to.I can connect anything from a large LED light bar to an off-camera flashes, even a medium sized mirrorless camera or whatever else I want really (accessories are provided for both phone and action cameras), without ever having to worry about the grip failing, generally no matter where I have it clamped on to.Overall, I am super impressed, but not at all surprised. NEEWER constantly outshines the competition these days, and I plan to continue ordering clamps and other items like this from them in the future. 5 stars.

The Neewer super clamp is a solid addition to my gear. The dual ballhead magic arm provides great adjustability, and the multiple adapters make it compatible with both phones and action cameras like my GoPro. It’s sturdy, reliable, and does the job well. My only gripe is that it can be a bit bulky, but otherwise, it’s a great tool for anyone looking to mount devices securely.

This adheres well to both larger rounded surfaces and most flat surfaces, and the magic arm section stays in place well. I've used it to hold a LED video light and for holding a phone. The phone holder is cheap plastic and about what you'd expect, but the clamp and magic arm are sturdy and decently robust. The magic arm holds lighter objects in place very well without slipping (haven't tried anything >1lb). I have not (yet) had the issues others have had with the tightening knob coming off.

I don't cheap out when it comes to clamps and arms. Photo/video gear is expensive, and I don't like to take any risks just to save few dollars. I rely on Manfrotto and for my clamp/arms, and these things can handle abuse and anything I throw at them. So, I know few things about these clamps/arms. I wanted to take a chance and test this clamp from Neewer.First off, this Neewer clamps is well built. The black aluminum alloy construction feels sturdy, and I have no doubt it can handle the weight of up to 3kg, according to Neewer. The super clamp itself has three pivot points, which adds extra stability when mounting it to poles, desks, or even fences. The non-slip rubber pads provide extra grip and prevent scratches, which is a nice touch. The dual ball heads offer good flexibility. I was able to position my mirrorless camera at practically any angle. The screw knobs make it quick and easy to adjust the ball heads, and they hold their position securely. The knobs are not as sturdy as my Manfrotto knobs, and I felt that I might break them if I push it to its limit.With 1/4" and 3/8" locating holes, as well as a built-in cold shoe mount, this clamp and magic arm combo can be used with a wide range of accessories, from microphones and monitors to LED lights and even rig cages.Overall, I'm happy with this Neewer Super Clamp and Magic Arm. It's a versatile, well-made, and incredibly useful tool for any photographer or videographer. To be honest, it's not going to be my go-to gear, but will certainly use it to mount small lights.

Neewer is a brand known for their value and build quality. Their products always punch above their value, and this is no exception! Whether you're working in a studio space, or on the go, a little magic arm type device can save the shoot! The possibilities with this tool are truly endless and go much further than what they suggested the uses are. The clip is made of metal so it's pretty heavy but that means it isn't flimsy at all and it never comes loose.The grip on this clamp is no joke. When I first got this I tested it by clamping it to my kitchen table and I was able to lift one end of it without so much as a wiggle out of this. The width of the clamp is actually perfect for attaching to a multitude of surfaces from thin to wide, round or squared. This tool has no one use, it can do it all. I often screw the threaded end into one of my tripods provided 1/4 inch screw holes and use the clamp end to hold larger objects like lights or power banks.This is one of those pieces you keep in your bag because you never know when you'll need it and it's always reliable. I love it, and I'm a happy customer of neewer once again. Quality at a good price is all you can ask for!

The Clamp is a great! It's sturdy and holds securely on the side mirror of my truck. Perfect for mounting my phone , and the adjustable ball head allows for precise positioning. Used it to record the drive down the remote road to our claim. Highly recommend for content creators!

Well machined; Fits "okay" on round tripod/tubing fits even better on somewhat rectangular objects;___This really does grip onto differently shaped objects. I have tried it on round and rectangular tripod legs, and a table top and it works well on both, but smaller round tubes/rods (less than 3/4 inch diameter) were getting to be too small for this to grip well, so check your object to see if it will work for you. It was perfect fit for my objects.___The clamping main part of this set is all metal, save for the handles/knobs and the silicone/rubber padding that touches your tripod/table. The fit and finish of this main section is very good.___The two attachments that come with this set (one attachment for a phone and one for something that has male 1/4" thread) are NOT metal, except for the bushing portion that screws onto the main portion's 1/4" male. They appear to be a resin, and that resin does NOT feel brittle and should be fine for phones/flash and the like. FYI, the phone attachment DID stretch to fit my XL Galaxy phone in its case.___I hope this review helped you in some way.

This clamp locks on tight and stays put. It opens wide enough to clamp on to a 2x4. The included phone mount is disappointing. It barely opens wide enough to hold a S22 or S20 Ultra. The fit is so tight, its both difficult to get the phones in or out. Full disclosure, I'm not a big fan of any spring loaded phone mount. I find them difficult and cumbersome to manipulate. But this one needs to be bigger for today's big phones.

I really needed a good mount to attach a camera to my railing and this hits the spot perfectly. It is easy to adjust, once tightened, it stays in position without issue. I tried it on a couple different diameters of pipe and had great success. It looks crazy, but works very good. I tested it with my DSL and with a GoPro and neither had any problem staying locked in position.
