Lightweight, nicely sized for carrying. The carrying strap that comes with the case seems a bit flimsy, but it is adequate to carry the weight of the bag even when filled with filters. I'll ultimately replace the strap, but don't feel it's really anything to worry about. There are soft dividers to separate filters. I don't have any real concern that they will scratch my filters. I'm able to fit my Lee 100 mm filters between the dividers. Pockets on the dividers are large enough to hold large screw-on filters.Like others, I'd be happier if the bag opened just a little wider, but this isn't enough of a concern to remove any stars from my rating.

This case has a lot of positive elements to it. It a comfortable size, has a solid shell that helps protect delicate filters and has a should strap. You can wear it as a crossbody bag or use the shorter strap to hang it from a backpack. It is big enough to handle a variety of filters, both round and 100mm square. The Velcro closure is nice and strong, so it won't pop open easily by accident. Each slot has a pocket as well so there is lots of room for lots of filters. However, I wish the case would open wider that it does. This causes a problem if you have many filters in the case. Now you are exerting pressure on the filters when pulling out a filter or putting one in. This can potentially crack a filter, specifically the 100mm square ones.

Neewer has another winning product with this Lens Filter Case. The one feature that caught my attention before I ordered it was the hard sides. I have expensive filters and really didn’t like the soft side filter case that I currently own because I never felt safe when the filters and case were packed in my backpack or suitcase. With the Neewer case I feel there is much better protection of the filters. As you can see in the photos, a 77mm round filter fits perfectly in the smaller pouch sewn into each ‘cavity’. The 95mm round filter also fits in the cavity. In addition, I have a Lee100 rectangular filter (100mm x 150mm, or about 4” x 6”) that also fits in the cavity. I now have a filter case that will safely handle all my filters.I do wish the case opened more when it’s fully unzipped. While it’s probably good that it doesn’t open more because it reduces the chance for filters to fall out, I did find it difficult inserting and removing the filters that were close to the sides of the case.Bottom line is I’m very happy with this filter case.

Here they go again, NEEWER comes out with something that wasn't asked for but very much needed. The NEEWER Camera Lens Filter Case with Water Resistant Hard Shell with 6 soft pockets, and a shoulder strap. The look in feel are very premium, however, where I feel they went wrong is not making it an even size for an easier fit in and out of my camera bag. The design as a stand-a-lone bag is what they opted for making it an extra piece I now I have to carry separately from inside my camera bag - whereas I feel they could have either: made the bag uniform top to bottom and side to side to make it easier to slide into my bag - or- made it easier to attach to an existing camera bag and/or your belt.Overall, it's an excellent idea that can house at least 6 lens filters, however, I'd rather have something a bit more compact that can more easily be stored in my bag or attached to my person.

When you have several different primes with varying diameters, the number of filters soon start racking up when you go on location. Trying to keep them all neatly stacked away in one place becomes essential so you're not scrabbling for individual cases on a shoot.Neewer have made a very robust filter case for that very purpose. Its shell is a lot stiffer and sturdier than I thought it would be. Previous alternatives I've owned have softer shell. There are advantages and disadvantages to this. The advantage is you'll find that this really does offer fantastic protection for your filters. On the downside, this is a very bulky case when you fill it up. This is not an issue for me. I'd rather have protection over portability, but it's something worth bearing in mind when buying. You can get smaller cases on the market, but they're nowhere near as durable.

All my filter pouches and cases are soft-sided for easy transport and packing. So I ordered this to see what the difference would be. Well, it is quite a case, this one. With the hard sides, it is a little bulky and bigger than I thought it would be. It can hold a lot of filters but only if you don't mind them being so close together. Seems to me you can put two in each slot, but it only really benefits you if they are the big expensive filters. Like filters over 95mm both circular and square/rectangle. Because the size of the case makes it hard to pack except in a big backpack, so the filters need to be worth that tradeoff. And with 95mm filters (top quality ones) being in the $180 range a case like this seems reasonable. So, I would say, that this case can hold about a dozen very large filters and protect them marvelously, and is better suited for bigger filters. Otherwise, it seems alittle like overkill to me.

This is a very solid feeling case. It feels like a hard shell case. The flap is secured with a hook and loop style closure (the brand name that starts with V). There is also an unbranded waterproof zipper for the internal compartment. There is a small zippered pocket in the flap. The interior is lined with a soft material.I managed to get 10 filters of various sizes in this case, but that made it difficult to close. This case doesn’t fan open much at all.The case comes with a thin, generic shoulder strap that connects to d-rings in the back of the case. There is also a small strap on the back, which I presume is for connecting to another bag or maybe through belt loops.Overall, this is an ok case. I wish it fanned open more.
