- #2 in Camera Filter Bags & Cases
Fotasy 49mm Filter Stack Caps consists of a set of top and bottom durable metal caps to fit filters with different diameters. Simply screw your filters together then screw the stack caps on the top and bottom. They will protect the filters from dust, scratches and fingerprints while not in use. Additionally, these caps enable a more organized, streamlined system for storing and carrying your filters. Made of aluminum alloy, the filter cap is slim and exquisite. Easy to carry and takes up a little space.

Great way to store and carry multiple filters in your bag at once. Does what it is supposed to do and build quality is excellent. Highly recommended.

Love the build quality (and it's metal!), finally I can downsize on some of the bulk.

They are exactly what I expected...they are well made and they are easily to open as the thread of the box is working very smooth. Thumb up!

I always have issues with the squeeze-attach lens covers most lenses come with these days they fall off as my camera bag gets jostled around. so I glue one of these to an old dead filter so it is easier to grip when threading on and off and I have a nice, metal lens cover that stays where it belongs

I've been trying to organize all my gear because I can never find what I'm looking for. I searched and searched for filter holders, but they're all sized for the biggest filters (dumb, when you're trying to protect 52 or 58mm filters), don't have enough pockets, and are insanely expensive. I stumbled across these and just felt stupid for not thinking to search for them in the first place. They're perfect: all my filters are grouped by size, they're all in one place, they're neatly (and satisfyingly) protected without taking up a ridiculous amount of room, and I have money left over for new ones. The only downside to stacking them is that the thicker magnifying filters can't connect to each other, but that's not the fault of these stack caps. And using magnifying filters isn't something I should admit to anyway... but they are pretty handy :) Anyway, I stuck those in one of the filter holders I already had (with not enough pockets for ALL my filters), and everything's perfectly organized now. I'm very happy with these!

Headline sums it up pretty nicely I think. There are some things to keep in mind though. If you switch out filters a lot then there will be a lot of screwing and unscrewing to get to the one you want. That isn't me, so I'm good. The second set I ordered sticks a bit, which led me to discover my filter frame had a dent. That's not this product's fault obviously, but if you have old filters that might not have the best threads then keep that in mind. Finally an additional tip, I may end up not using both sides of this product. I have an extra lens cap so for the cost of a few mm thicker stack of filters I can shave off a few seconds when needed.

I'll be honest: I purchased this to protect a single filter, so that I could pick it out and toss it in the "everything else" portion of my camera bag. I have padded compartments for camera bodies and lenses, but filters? Those get to tumble around with the mass of chargers, cables, and batteries.Well, the joke's on me. These filter caps make carrying filters so compact and convenient, that I now carry pretty much all of my filters at all times. My filters are now a fist-sized nugget of diopters stacked on neutral density filters stacked on polarizers stacked on God-knows-what. At this point, I could probably use them for self defense if I slipped the mass into a sock.Okay, one caveat: these filter caps are not amazing for adjustable filters. By adjustable, I mean that once the filter is screwed on, you can twist it to change the orientation, like graduated filters and some polarizers. Obviously, those do not play so well together in a stack, and if two adjustable filters get jammed together, good luck. The outside rings on adjustable filters are often too skinny even for my trusty filter wrenches to get a grip.Alright, so this might not be a great solution if you have a bunch of filters of different diameters. Is that situation all your fault, for not getting all your filters in the largest diameter needed, and using step-down rings? You know it is; hang your head in shame. Still, those step-down rings need somewhere to ride, and a wallet might be the better solution then.

Excellent way to cut down the space required to carry multiple filters. I love the metal construction, they are rwally robust.
