It's true that this filter case is almost twice as large as the Kase filter case that I already own. It's worth it, though, because I can now actually pull out my filters with cold fingers (anytime, actually). It's large enough to hold my four filters, my lens cover and several transition rings. Great storage case.

The bag is well constructed out of quality materials and feels like it will last for a long time. It is also well-designed: secure on a belt, nice access, and great to have the color-coding of the slots. Only thing I wish for is slightly more room around the 82mm filters.

I was so pleased when I received this filter case. I use it for my 77mm infrared filters and they fit securely, but are still easy to access. The case is high quality and the insert stays in with a Velcro surface. Highly recommend, and I will probably buy a second for my ND filters.

One person said that they had tried two other storage cases before purchasing the MindShift case. I actually did the same thing. This case could not be more perfect (unless it was free). I really like the versatility of the case. When I want to go lite ( camera, one lens, tripod, and filters ) I can go with the outer case attached to my belt. If I carry everything in a back pack, I just need the inner case. Both ways my filters are well protected. I would give this product ten stars! The person who designed this case must be a landscape photographer.

Filters aren’t cheap. I wanted a case that would protect mine, make them accessible and fit into my bag well. The Mindshift storage case did all three. I have two sets of four filters, 82mm and 77mm. The case allows me to store one set on each side in the color-coded, padded compartments of the removal inner core. There is room for a couple of filter wrenches in front of and behind this core. The outer pouch is rugged, rip-stop nylon with a zippered top that seals the filters securely inside with no way for dust to enter. Add to this a sturdy belt loop and an oddly easy stacking overall shape. The base is wider than the top. The top flap is slanted. If, like me, you slip the pouch into a partitioned section of your camera bag, access to the filters is facilitated without the removal of the case from the bag partition. It’s not a huge feature, but good experiences, like good photographs, are comprised of a lot of little things, not one flashy feature. Mindshift gear is comprised of many, well thought out features executed with precision. Whenever I need gear, I check with Mindshift first.

I finally found one filter case to rule them all! I have 6x 77 ND filters, 1x CPL and and 3-4 step up rings taking up one slot so this case is absolutely perfect. It's snug. No bigger than it needs to be, it zips up, and what's really great is being able to take the inner case out for situations where you want to put all your gear in a single bag and you don't need the additional padding that this case provides. Super great!

Yes I love it.The filter nest is a very thought out system designed by professional photographers. Perfect for all of my filter needs. Fits perfectly inside my Pelican 1520 case with the outer bag. Easy color coded slots for quick removal of any filter and has soft slots to keep your filters nice and snug. Also comes with a nice belt attachment and also attaches to your tripod for fast filter changes. Best one on the market. Thanks Mind Shift for a great product.

It works really well, I'm able to put 8 filters in the pouches easily and securely. Unfortunately, it doesn't work well for me because it's a little bulky for my main compartment of the LowePro Fastpack 250 camera bag where I want to store, filters, 3 lenses, and DSLR.

I originally purchased a Ruggard Filter Pouch from an online brick and mortar superstore when I bought some B+W circular polarizers and neutral density filters. The idea seemed like a good one, but i didn't think much about it. That filter pouch was horrendous, I only used it once and would only use it when also putting in the foam inserts that came with the filters. It offered horrible protection. This "filter nest" is perfect. It offers excellent protection for all filters inside. It retains a "smallish" size and has multiple extra pockets that I wasn't expecting for microfiber cloths, SD Cards CF Cards, and other small accessories. It can either be attached to other bags or it can be thrown inside of a larger bag. I am using it for 4 filters and have room for 4 more which I plan on getting soon. Currently the size of this bag is larger than the combined size of the 4 B+W cases that came with the filters, but i believe one or two more filters will put me into saving space. While I currently have lost a tiny bit of room in my main camera bag, I have gained tremendously in organization and speed in finding filters. My only complaint is I was expecting this greyish color with green highlights. I got a black nest with green highlights. I didn't realize there were multiple colors, probably wasn't paying attention when ordering. I don't mind, but I was expecting the cool grey color.I have looked at several of these, the one cheapy that I disliked and a few others in Brick and Mortar stores. This seems to be the king of them all, I highly recommend.
