Effect could barely bee seen. Didn't noticed that "magic movie effect" but additional flares..

Perfect fit and provides just the right amount of character to a modern lens. Have used this one on my X100F and havent taken it off since buying it. Improves tonal graduations and just removes a bit of the harsh sharpness of a digital lens and sensor. Love it.

Adds a slight grainy look and works well. Made of glass and neewer machined it well

Neewer has really stepped up the game on affordable high quality artistic filters. You get great image quality at an affordable price tag. It's easy to use and doesn't give you any issues like vignetting or glare. 1/8th diffusion is my favorite it just works. I would highly recommend this one.

The Neewer black mist filter ads a subtle softening effect and slightly reduces contrast. While it's primarily used for moving pictures I think it works great for still photos, as well. The filter feels sturdy and well made, and I had no issues focusing my camera through it.It's a great tool that will get lots of use in my professional photography kit.

I use this filter on my prime lenses for most video talking heads and portraits. It subtly takes some of the sharpness down, slightly blooms the highlights, and creates a pleasing look.

This is a good quality 1/8 black diffusion filter. I like to use 1/8th sometimes for my talking head videos, as it softens the image slightly. I'm using this 77mm filter with a ring adapted to 67mm. I like it, and will be using it.

No-one likes every single blemish on their face to show up in hi-res photos or HD video. Always requires some smoothing in post. However, I would say this black diffusion filter takes care of smoothing sufficiently for 98% of the day to day use cases. It also gives the background a nice, softer feel. You still get the crispness of HD, but with a bit of the edge taken off. Definitely recommend.
