I purchased this as backup for another cap that screws in without the square top. I was always cutting the square top off with my lawn mower.

this is a cover for the pipe that leads away from the house to the sewer in the street. i could not find one at the local hardware store. the original one needed to be replaced, because i ran over it with the lawnmower. dont really know what to say about this item. it is a cover. it fits. its good. and nothing can fall into the sewer pipe.

My local big box store used to carry a wide variety of these 4" fittings. That is no longer the case, and when I wanted to modify an existing run with new cleanouts, I was glad Amazon carried these.

I accidentally clipped my previous one with a lawn mower and bought this one as a replacement. This one fits perfectly and does the job.Quality seems pretty good too, maybe even stronger than my previous one (thicker). It would take a lot of force (or a lawnmower in my case) to break one of these I think. The price of this is also great for what you get. I believe I paid 5 dollars for this. Well worth the price. I might even buy an extra to have on hand in case I clip this one too.

I recently had my lawn reseeded and forgot to mark the top of my septic tank. My old plug got pretty beat up and needed replacing. Fortunately, I was able to remove it. This replacement worked perfectly. Well made with smooth threads. Just make sure you clean out the inside threads before you install!

Screws in fine but the body is thinner than used to. Homedepot brand would be stronger at the square knob if the cap binds?
