This Natural Chemistry scale free prevents scaling caused by calcium and mineral hardness. It prevents metal staining and scale build-up to prolong pool equipment life as well as preserving pool liners and finishes. Features deactivates iron, calcium and other minerals. Highly concentrated, phosphate-free formula. Compatible with all sanitizers and pool surfaces. Will not add phosphates or acid to pool water. Recommended dosage are 32-ounce per 10,000-gallons of water and 5-ounce per 10,000-gallons of water for monthly treatment. It can be apply directly to pool water as per dosage chart. If water hardness level is above 500 ppm, double the recommended dose. Comes in 2-liter container.

Basically maintains by removing chlorine from water. Not really for removing buildup.

Have used this product for over two years and it works great keeping the water surface on the edge tiles free of scale build up. We have a in ground salt water pool & spa.

I noticed that the tiles on the edge of my water line were getting this white residue. I researched how to clean this, from steel wool, to harsh chemicals... then I found this. A cap full every week and the white residue faded away. It was not immediate, but over the course of a month, one cap full every week and the white line is gone. No work, no scrubbing, just this. It is now a part of my weekly routine to add a half a cap full.

Put this in my pool after I spent 3 days scraping scale off the tiles. Seems to be working but I don’t know how long it takes for the scale to come back. Trying to be a little more diligent on keeping the chemicals correct. Looks great now.

First time above-ground pool owner. Didn't want to get harsh chemicals that may affect the longevity of our new recreational space, so we wanted to go with a more gentle approach. Read reviews on this entire line of product and purchased most of them to use this past summer. We had many days of triple digit temps which required us to put more time in keeping the pool clean. However in speaking with friends who also had the same setup but used different chemicals, we were fortunate that our cocktail of Natural Chemistry products worked better than their brands of choice. We bought the concentrated versions so won't need to purchase for a while again. Highly recommend this line of products as we're very happy that it's helped with our hard water and high temps. Water is very slippery and clear without needing so much chlorine beyond 1 tablet every 2 wks in our 3500 gallon playground.
