This mulch smells so fresh and simply wonderful! And I love that it is such a high quality and natural product. The color is gorgeous, though I did add a bit of pine bark mulch–"sprinkled atop"–to tone it down a bit for my area of use. Personal taste and use. Ten stars if I could!

These, I believe, are red cedar shavings. This is truly a great product! They are nice and dry, clean, no dirt in the bag. Upon opening the bag, the scent was heavenly. I put them in my potted rosebush to deter insects and to help retain moisture. I also put them in some of my potted plants, which makes my livingroom really smell nice and woodsy. All of that, and I still have quite a bit left, as they go a long way! Oh! I also put some in some unmatched socks, tied the ends, and set them in out of the way places in the room where I keep the cat's litterbox. It really makes a difference and covers any remnant of catbox odor. Speaking of cat.... the plants in which I put the cedar shavings, the cat avoids like the plague. She, apparently, does not appreciate the scent. Which suits me fine, as it keeps her out of my plants. :) Overall, a great product with many uses. I will definitely be purchasing more in the future, as needed.

Smells great AND I haven't had any insects crawling all over my plants. I'll purchase again.N don't let the size of the bag fool you. Goes a long way. I've used less than one bag on several LARGE planters

I’m sure it’s good quality but it’s too expensive for the amount in bag.
