The good news is that it takes little power to etch through the surface laminate. With my 33W Diode laser, 200mm/s at 20% power was as close to gold color as I could get. The bad news is that the underlying substrate is sensitive to heat and color change. In fairness, I should do another material test between 10% and 30% power but note from the image that the substrate color changes dramatically with power increase. Summary: Good for small batch but order Enough to blow some on testing. If you want more reliable and consistent colors, there are commercial products out there, but you need to buy larger sheets, cut them yourself, and spend a bit more money.Once you get your settings dialed in, it looks pretty good as shown in the final signs. NOTE: The blurred edges are not a fault of the product but something in the overscan of my etcher. You should not have these problems but when running at 200mm/sec, things get rather sensitive. I may try running again at 100mm/sec and 10% and increasing my overscan. Didn't happen on the first run so I may just need to clean the laser lens.

These are bright and look like brushed metal. Look beautiful.I'm pretty sure this is PVC so (if I'm correct), beware of chlorine gas if you are laser engraving. I ran this on a junk machine, outside, with a window fan across the machine and they came out great, no damage to the machine and my wife liked the end result. Everybody wins.I'd definitely buy again.

Turned out beautiful for a laser engraved plaque on a trophy. On my 20W diode laser I engraved at 50% power and 100 mm/s fill mode (0.1mm interval, using LightBurn). I then cut it out using 90% power at 10 mm/s. I have some concern that the listing says it is ABS, which is regarded as questionable for laser engraving due to potential bad fumes and poor cut quality. But the quality of the engraving and cutting was flawless, and I just made sure to use good ventilation.

No issues with this product and looks great. Engraved with an XTool F1 using recommended setting for acrylic, and applied them with thin double sided tape. Also, in RE to some of the other reviews. I don't see any issues with the edges. They look normal and are clean cut. Make sure you are removing the plastic protector.

I ordered 5 packs of 5 for laser engraving, and only 2 of the 25 had the protective film on them. About half are scratched in similar ways and places, but I'm having to work with them due to an open house deadline at work (we need office name tags). Also they're just cheap ABS plastic that has poorly cut edges. I do not recommend this product or the seller. I would return them if I could
