This was a very quick way to get good soil information. The kit is just the sampling container. It then gets mailed to a soil lab in Walla Walla and they do a full nutrient analysis. It took much longer for USPS to deliver the sample than it took for them to do the work and post the results online. This was very easy and a pretty good value for money since the closest soil testing service is over 30 miles from me. I'll probably do more tests this way.

Easy to use. Clear easy to understand instructions and you get a basic lab report on what your soil needs and what it doesn't need. Do not just go throwing fertilizer and additives to your lawn or garden without knowing what the soil actually needs. Doing a soil test will save you money. My lawn looks better, and is healthier. The price is right. Buy your test, add your samples and mail it in. Wait a week or so and your test results are available online. Easy!

This product is a good choice for someone who wants to test their soil. It has easy to read and understand directions and the results come back in a fairly timely manner. It is just a touch pricey but appears comparable to what is otherwise available. I would recommend the product and I would use it again.

Search YouTube for this brand and you'll see plenty of instructions and test result formats. In the results there are also links to recommended products to add to your yard. Basically, they just generally suggest basic macro-nutrient [N-P-K] fertilizers they earn a commission on. They are brands I've never heard of before. I don't know if they offer advice for high/low pH since mine was perfect. However, my micro-nutrients [Fe, B, Cu, and Zn] were so low as to be non-existent, but there were no products listed. This is a good thing as fixing those can be fatal if done wrong. My results took either 5 or 6 days to post, I can't remember.I like this overall. I'll prob do an annual test until I get everything fixed and then every 2-3 years after that just to make sure I don't miss any slow trends. Not a bad value at $30. Just be cautious of the products they suggest. You can likely get the same thing cheaper at your local shops since they won't need to be mailed and will have competing brands on the adjacent shelf.And for those new to soil testing, remember that fixing the soil is more than making sure the nutrients are there. They are only the precursors. Remember to fix the whole ecosystem, including bacteria, protozoa, nematodes, worms, and mycilium.
