Mount holes did not align perfectly

This Tele switch/pot plate is just short of perfect. The size is great. The holes and slot are spot on (even more so, the volume is just a little back from the norm giving the volume some needed space away from the switch). The weight is good. The only thing that keeps it from perfection is the color. While billed as “gold” it is not the same bright gold as other Musiclily hardware, and it is noticeable. I’m still going to use it as the TL it’s going on is for my own use and education, but the original plan of gold bridge, plate and guard gave way to going with a black guard instead. The knobs I will be using do match. Maybe future runs may correct this, as otherwise the part is excellent.

A perfect replacement for the original Telecaster control plate. I felt like the original put the volume control too close to the pickup selector. This solved that problem for me perfectly. Honestly I think the spacing looks better too.Beware if you are trying to use this on a Squier Classic Vibes. You will need to replace the pots too. Worth it in my opinion.

かなり大ざっぱに言えば気に入っていますが、取り付け用のビスがむき出しでパッケージされていたせいでプレートの縁に傷がついていました。一手間かけて小さなビニール袋に入れてからパッケージするか、いっそ元のビスを使う前提でビス無しにした方が良かったと思います。付属のビスは、純正のものと比較して、頭が小さく、少し長いです。当然純正を使用します。取り付けに関しては、ギターによっては、配線を直す、ボリュームポッドの取り付けを180度回転させるなどしないと、取り付けられないと思います。私の場合は、配線もボリュームポッドの向きも修正しました。また、パネルのビス穴は、純正品と比較すると、ボディエンド側を合わせるとネック側は0.5mmくらいずれています。折りを見て穴開けをやり直しするつもりです。細かい難点は有りましたが、テレキャスを使う上で気になっていた事が改善でき、交換できて満足です。

I got this to replace the standard tele plate, that leaves little room for Volume and pickup selector. It has a much better spacing for access to the controls, which is good. It was easy to change the parts over, however the one problem is that original Tele plates have screw holes with beveled edges, so the screws recess, when in position. This new plate does not, therefore screws do stick out further than they normally would, because they can't 'sink in' to become flat.

物としては素晴らしく、お高い某有名メーカーの物ではなくこちらで事足ります。POT穴はインチ、ミリ共に入ります。スイッチはSCUD製を付けましたがサイズ問題なかったです。ただしボディにとめるネジ穴はそれぞれ開け直しが必要かもしれません。ただし一点、商品はパウチされた状態で届き開封したところ画像の所に元から傷がありました。製造上か梱包時か不明ですが最初は綺麗な状態なだけに気になりました。使用上問題なく気にならないですが、完璧な状態を望むならこういう事もあると気に留めておいた方が良いです。

The good: cheap as can be, finished nicely, and the extra space is enough that even my big dumb hands can clear the switch easily without needing it angled (which just doesn't look right to me). The switch channel is a bit longer which is nice, even though I didn't need it to be.The bad: dimensionally it's ever so slightly smaller than the plate it's replacing (it's a partscaster, so no idea of the brand of the original). I'll need to probably move a hole to get it to sit nicely in the cutout of the pickguard now.The neutral: The holes for the switch aren't countersunk, which I should have noticed from the pictures so I guess that's on me. It's also substantially thinner steel than what I had on there, which is fine with me and could be good or bad for you (it's probably about half the weight and closer to the thickness of my pickguard now).

Never received anything but a sealed empty package. Will no longer purchase anything from Musiclily again. That is the 3rd time I have received empty packages from Musiclily.

Replacing the control plate was an important part of the modulations I made to my 2011 American Standard Telecaster. Along with flipping the positions of the pickup selector and the tone and volume controls, moving the the middle knob further from the pickup switch had the the controls more accessible and less cumbersome.The attached photo compares the new Musiclily control plate (installed) with the original. The quality and look are great. You can see the new location of the middle control knob and the slot for the switch is a little longer which would allow for alternative switches. Importantly, the overall size is identical and the holes for the switch and body mounting screws are in the exact same locations.If you are replacing an existing control plate I would advise that you carefully measure these aspects of your original and compare with the dimensions shown the image for this item.
