These are what got us started, hard to find open back-slotted posts. We had a military contractor looking for a heavy duty 1/8 inch; Binding Post Hardware for some bags & holster attachments. We searched everywhere to find these but could not and resorted to having the tooling made for us in the USA.
These are not your average Chicago binding posts and screws, these are made to exceed Mil-Spec standards, even our Black Oxide Finish is an Ultra Deep Black that will outlast any other brand.
They are mostly used for mounting knife sheath and gun holster attachments, fixing & fastening leather straps, sandal buttons, boots, belts knives, use in place of fastener rivets. Because they are slotted, they can be easily tightened or removed. These use an industry standard #8-32 thread. Screwpost Packs in quantities of 10 or 25 piece match sets.

I bought these to replace another brand I bought previously that had duds that would not screw together. These are so much better, the machining looks better the finish is better and so far they have all screwed together with no duds. At just under a dollar each item it can be the most expensive part of some sheaths so it is nice to get what you pay for = fasteners that work. These will be my go to from now on.

I have used these exact Chicago screws on several holster and knife sheath builds. They have been used with both .080" and .060" Kydex, and put through some heavy abuse with holster applications, as well as magazine pouches. They remain tight once set without the need for thread locker, the rubber washers have held up to the elements well and I have even attempted to over tighten the screws to see if they would break such as the screws that were supplied from a very large holster/tactical gear manufacturer. The only issue I have noticed, that in no way hinders the performance of these screws, is the black finish is prone to wear and seems to wear easily. However, I have used hundreds of these Chicago screws with zero malfunctions/breaking. The addition of the slotted back makes it very easy to tighten these screws to the required torque unlike those that do not have a slotted back. The phillips head on the top/front of the screw fits a standard #2 phillips driver perfectly and prevents slipping and rounding of the screw head.

The product seems to be pretty good quality, I only had one screw that had a defect on the threads. However, be aware if you order the mega pack that it comes with 40 screws but only 20 slotted posts and 20 washers. Having 20 washers isn’t concerning for me, but I now need to purchase another 20 posts to make the extra screws useful. I suppose I should have asked for clarification prior to ordering, but assumed there would be the same number or posts as screws.

Product was delivered timely and worked perfectly for the project at hand :-) Thank you! I am a 3rd party contractor in the pest control industry and wear a Batman belt. I was making an articulting arm to carry something called a critter catcher. Basically it's an apparatus that grabs spiders safely without killing them. I have a rear stow compartment mounted with tek loks and was able to build off of it from there. Pretty nifty! It makes all the difference when you have the right kind of hardware and these binding posts are the bomb diggidy!Highly recommend vendor.

Nice sturdy screw that holds up to the weight on the step of our Coleman pop up camper. This part is no longer available from Coleman and I was not having any luck finding anything to replace this with. Regular screws were too long and made the step catch when putting it up or down. Other binding posts were not strong enough to hold the weight on the step and I had to keep replacing them. I purchased the 1/2" and they are perfect! It is definitely and extra bonus that these are made in the U. S. Thank you!

Good quantity for the price, I had more then enough for my needs. It worked very well for my projects, a gun holster and a few knife sheaths all made out of kydex. For fastening two sheaths together these are not long enough at all but buy a few longer screws and the spacers with this set do great to keep from overtigthening and warping the sheaths. Great option for a do it your self kinda guy like me!

The post screws arrived promptly in a neat package and were exactly what I was looking for. They came in a pack of ten with good quality rubber o-rings as pictured. I personally used them as retention adjustment screws as well as clip fastening screws for my DIY kydex holster project using .080" thickness kydex. The screws cleared that thickness of kydex wonderfully and I could see them doing fine with thicker variants of kydex as well. For my retention screw I used 3 of the included o-rings for spacing as I molded my holster very tightly and was still able to get the screws together easily. They held together well and did not loosen with usage, though I'll be adding a little loctite in the future just for a little extra peace of mind. I was also extremely happy to hear these are made in the USA as well as is manufactured by a small family run operation.
