Ladder stands are not easy to put up. Especially the double ladder stands. This takes all the fight out of getting it up. It solves 2 problems. Fighting to get it up and the bottom of the ladder kicking out when you’re lifting it. I just used it to put up a rivers edge Lockdown 2 man, which is a very heavy treestand. Do yourself a favor and buy this, it’s much safer.

This thing was a life saver as I had to raise and lower a 70+ pound Stand 10 times. Still recommend two people, but makes things much safer. My only complaint would be the actual ratchet operates a bit rough. I would pay more for a smoother operating higher quality ratchet

Made installing 2 person ladder stands easy! The ones I get to hunt with my little hunting buddy are fairly large and not fun to put up. Did one last year that took me and a friend all we could do to get it up.This year with this, we still need 2 people but no lifting required now! I love this thing and only regret is I didn't buy one sooner! If it can handle the Primal 2 man stands, it can handle anything. Those Primal stands are built like a tank. They are heavy but solid!

More a testimony to the cheap materials in the ladder part of the stand than the hoist system itself..While lifting this "two man stand" the ladder buckled from the stress placed upon it by the hoist coupled with the excessive weight of the top part of the stand.....One man stands are a cinch and I put four of them up myself, just make sure the stand is lined up with the ratchet or, while hoisting, the strap will run off the spool into the gears, forcing you to stop and reverse the ratchet until the strap is once again on the spool. My only real complaint is that the strap holding the hoist to a tree is too short for a tree of 24" diameter or more....Worth the $46 though

My wife & I used this system to install a large two person ladder stand. Its a life saver for sure. We never would have gotten it up without this product. Beware; the crank handle end will rub against the mounting strap as you rotate the crank. Ignore it and you risk fraying the mounting strap. A strong finger depressing the strap as the crank handle passes solves the issue but it is a design flaw. Also, the crank handle needs to be bolted to the drum assembly using a wrench. A heads up in the instructions might keep some of us from getting into the field minus the required tool....just saying.Overall a good product!

I ordered this in December along with a Muddy Nexus treestand, but didn’t get a chance to use it till today. It is extremely simple to use and doesn’t take a rocket scientist to operate but the hardware is extremely cheap! I hooked it up exactly the same as the instructions guided and started hoisting it up. My $320 treestand platform raised about 4 foot off of the ground and came crashing down and the winch handle spun around and cracked the knuckles. I wasn’t sure what happened at first, but upon closer inspection I realized the bolt that holds the winch latch was broken. I can see someone could get hurt bad by this product and I plan on contacting Muddy.
