very cute little knife. It's not very useful. May be used for peeling a very small apple.

It's a beautiful life and I love every bit of it except it's tiny it's tiny for a wear around the neck knife it's small but it's sharp and it's beautiful and I can't complain with anything about it except I wanted it to be bigger I wanted it to be full size.

Okay not good but okay as a backup in case you lose your primary knife! Comes to you dull (in need of sharping) a bit small I have big hands, and can barely get 3 fingers on the handle. And as a neck knife it is useless, do to the small button clip that holds it in the sheath. witch does not even clip that well. There is a button on the sheath and a small oveal pocket on the handle just behind the finger guard (on your left side if you hold the knife out in front of you with the sharp edge facing down). Should not be carryed hanging upside down,as would be the case, when used as a neck knife. ( Unless you string the chain through the eyelets differently than it arrives. It is very light weight, and what looks like a steal plate at the hilt is in reality a back piece of plastic! So does not look like a full tang. Like I said it is okay but not good as a backup only. If you had lost your primary blade, it is better than nothing, and light enough to carry as a spare. So not a really good knife but could suffice, if the above parameters are kept in mind! I would recommend if and only if you are looking for a second knife as back up, but. if you are looking for a main knife definitely keep looking!

Many peeps seem surprised at the diminutive size of this knife...why I don't know. The dimensions are clearly stated in the M-Tech ad. This is a neck knife, not a toy. It is sized appropriately for a neck knife. See my pics for comparisons to three very popular neck knives from other brands and you will see what I am talking about. I have extra large hands and I can get three fingers on the handle which is acceptable for a neck knife. The grip is rubbery and feels good in the hand. The sheath is very well done with lots of lashing points. There is a nub on the throat of the sheath that interacts with a depression on the handle to lock it in just right. It will not come loose when carrying upside down around your neck, yet it is easy to draw just by giving it a yank.I got the drop point version, which is actually a clip point modeled after the ka-bar marine fighting knife, and the dagger style. The dagger style came much sharper out of the box and I was able to cut paper with it. The ka-bar style "drop point" came with slightly uneven grinds and was fairly dull. This blade is an 1/8" thick and saber ground, so the angle of the edge is quite thick. I am estimating in the range of 30 to 35 degrees. I worked on it for about 2 hours on my paper wheels and diamond sharpening stones before finishing up on a ceramic rod. At the end of all that I got it to around a 22 degree secondary bevel where it would cut paper if I used just the right technique. I docked one star for this issue. All in all a better neck knife than the reviews indicate. Recommended at the low price of 8 bucks if you don't mind using a little elbow grease to fine tune the edge. Or just get the dagger style, which came sharp.

Me encantó el diseño de este cuchillo y el precio... Lo uso mas para unboxings que para supervivencia pero no creo que desepcione en ese punto tampoco. También concideren el precio

I knew what size this was when I ordered it. But i was disappointed in the build quality. Poor handle. This is great as a little letter opener. It's nothing more though. seriously, there are GREAT and CHEAP blades out there. This is just a cheap little blade, and it's not great. even mtech makes better little neck knives. if u want a low priced small knife, there are other better options. this shouldn't even be considered an option. this is a novelty item. this is not a tool. this is not for real work. this is for opening letters and absolutely nothing more.

One thing everyone should know before buying this is that it is a neck knife, not a full size knife read the dimensions and description before assuming it is full sized it is a 5$ knife you get what you pay for. Don't be upset because of your own mistake, I see too many people complaining "it is tiny not what I expected" well if you knew how to read you would know it's a neck knife and actually this is on the larger side of neck knives

Sehr schlechtes Messer.
