MR CARTOOL V50 test kit drivers all kinds of gasoline/diesel injectors, including PFI/FSI/TFSI/GDI/Peizo etc. It detects the type of injector automatically and works with a single button click.
The kit also provides common adapters for most direct injection injectors to fit in the fuel rails of most traditional PFI injector testers, for testing the injectors' spray-ability.

It worked fine at first but then it started just giving one pulse that openned the injector and after that just went "tick tick tick" and the injectors don't open, it seems like it doesn't have the power to open it, the LED indicator looks significantly weaker when it does not open the injector versus when it does. Now it does not work at all on coil injectors. It does work fine on piezo injectors, that is why I bought it, so I could do both. That is why it gets any stars at all. I contacted the seller and they said my injectors are bad... ALL of them? They work fine in the vehicle but not with the tester, must be bad injectors.....

I have been looking for a tool to activate my outboards fuel injectors so I can clean them myself instead of sending them out to be serviced. This tool will help me do just that. The fact that I can change the trigger frequency is a plus to make sure I exercise the injectors and get out any caked on gum. I would recommend this for the DIYers who prefer to maintain their own equipment.

If you need to test or clean your fuel injectors, this is an excellent way to do it. You are able to visually confirm the spray pattern and quality while controlling it through this unit. There are a lot of items you need in your toolkit before one of these, but if you are at the point where you need to be working with injectors, this is a must-have tool. It worked great on our '90 Miata.
