I use the kit to clean the injectors on my BMW X5 4.8, it worked really well and really quickly, unfortunately the car had a small head gasket leak that I didn’t really know about, and I had to end up, ditching it, but no complaints about the injector cleaning kit

I saw a video to make this using a tire valve stem but deiced it was easier to just buy this for a few dollars.It worked great to clean my injectors. Wrap a rag around the top of the can because it will spray, and also hold the injector in because they fly out under pressure. I used a 9v battery. Very happy with the results

I got this hoping it would simplify hookup for injectors I want to clean. It did, kind of, but it definitely needs improvement. The adapters are supposed to fit on 10mm and 14mm injectors at one end, and on the stub of a carb cleaner can when you pull the spray head off. If you carb cleaner has the stub in the spray head instead of the can, you are out of luck, this won't work. Also, with my can of carb cleaner, it wasn't a tight fit, so the cleaner sprayed out around the connection at the wrong end, instead of through the injector. Second the electrical leads look like they were meant to plug into a Bosch Jetronic-1 or 2 injector, but there is no clip to hold it in, and they come off easily. Lastly, the holes where the injectors plug in to the adapter seem a little too large, and the injectors are easy to blow out when you hit the spray. I ended up wrapping some tie wire around the adapter and the injectors to hold them in place.Good idea but it needs work.

There are some good injector cleaning devices available. This is not one of them. While the price is great, I found them basically ineffective. The concept behind them is to push these into the appropriate nylon holder (the kit includes two diameter sizes depending on your injector), and on the other end you attach a carb cleaning spray can with the top removed (the brand must have a female cap that leaves a stem when removed) in the small hole on the bottom of the nylon holder. Problem number one is the stem is not likely to be a tight fit. Problem number two is the pressure in the can is enough to discharge the injector from the port it is in on top even when it is the right fit. This will likely result in spray going everywhere so wear safety glasses. I had everything wrapped in a rag to minimize the mess. In spite of my best efforts, I never really got the injector clean in the hour I fooled with this. I know it is nice to save a few bucks, even had the system actually worked the time and effort wasn't worth the price of just replacing the offending injector.

Works great! Buy it and save some cash!Add a momentary switch!To make supplying power to the injector a little easier I ran a normally open momentary switch on the ground. I will add a picture soon. Prep the injector, press the switch and clean the injector. Stop cleaning the injector and then let off the switch. Too easy and no more injector launching across the work bench haha!

I watch a video on how to build a device to clean fuel injectors. Than visited a local shop to price everything I needed. Finally I checked Amazon and realized it was cheaper to buy this kit and have a kit to clean the injectors on all my cars. I should have started at Amazon.

Would have given 5 stars except....it doesn't seal well on the spray can and fluid goes everywhere out of the base of the tool. I knew this going in from watching online videos. I was able to stack a few small o-rings on the pintle of the carb cleaner can to help eliminate this problem. Great Value And Functionality For The Dollar. Much easier than using fuel hose and an air compressor. I would buy again since it simplified a process I was using in the past. Wire harness fit my Miata 1.8 injectors perfectly and I retired my speaker wire and connectors. Good build qiality and great price, two different size harnesses and cleaning tools. ++++

The connectors for power are excellent, hence the 3 stars. However, the fluid tubes (the white items) that hold the injectors are flimsy. They do not fit properly on any can of carb leaner or injector and therefore it continuously leaks all over your hands and work surface. The openings (top and bottom) on the fluid tube needs to be smaller for a tighter fit on both ends.
