I bought this after getting quoted over $700.00 to install a basic remote start with 2 key fobs that would lock/unlock the doors by my local Ziebart.I did the install myself and have been using it without any problems for over 2 months now and its AWESOME!! It was pretty involved with the wiring, BUT the tech support was amazing, prompt and precise. So if you're handy enough to strip/solder/cover your connections as well as follow basic instructions on a laptop, this is perfect for you. It doesn't get any cheaper than this. The plug and play one would be my only other suggestion if you don't wanna do the work, but its double the price of this unit. Happy hunting!! (in your warmed up vehicle)

I was so excited when I received this for Christmas to soon learn there was no directions included and after several hours of working the wires are not long enough to even reach and it is far from plug and play. Do yourself a huge favor and buy something else.

Great item, work well. Just make sure you read the manuals, step by step. And a key note, not all wires will be used, per manufacturer specifications. So that will lessen the stress, incase it arrive and you freak out about the wire bundles.

Any MPC product so far is great. I bought 3 already. On lost one I need technical support.. they did great and help me navigate trough instalation . Excellent support and great product. Thank you.

Relatively simple to install. Module didn’t program properly the first time around but was eventually able to get it reprogrammed with the hell of tech support. Only complaint would be the response time of tech support. Took 48 hours to get any help. Being able to actually talk to someone on the phone would’ve been nice.

Kit shows up with everything you need which is great. Instructions and tip sheet are vehicle specific which makes making the connections a no brainer. I had about 8-10 connections to make for my 2010 F150. Never could get it to program to my keys. I’d give MPC Tech support 50 stars if possible, they spent probably a total of 5-6 hours on the phone with me over a couple days trying to troubleshoot. I think my truck was a one in a million fail. I would still recommend this product and company.
