No Gimmicks, No Waste!
When you test or bypass a multimedia component, you ONLY use the "Female" style fiberoptic bypass loop!
Don’t be fooled by “pairs” or "2PC sets" of Male & Female fiber optic loops.
The "Male" loop included in these "sets" is absolutely useless to anyone troubleshooting sound and SOS errors with their vehicle, we promise, it will wind up in a landfill! To make things worse, the "Female" loop in these "sets" often requires modification & cutting by the user to make it fit the plug on your multimedia component.

BMW - Checking Vehicle Compatibility:
BMW: Our fiber optic loop is compatible with all BMW models from 2006-2011. (keep reading below for newer models) In BMWs, components with fiber-optic connections are identified by their green optical cables. The image on the left shows a typical component layout with the male MOST connector cable disconnected from a component. In BMWs, multimedia components are typically located in the trunk near the driver-side tail light, or in the bottom center area underneath the cover panel. Components and locations will vary based on your make, model and vehicle options (we will help you find them as needed).
2012+ BMW models utilize a consolidated communication module (com box) replacing the older, separate components used in previous years. Our fiber optic bypass is compatible for testing purposes, however, 2012+ BMWs will likely require further troubleshooting (we are happy to help).
Mercedes - Checking Vehicle Compatibility:
Mercedes: Our fiber optic loop is compatible with most Mercedes models from 2004-2011. Mercedes vehicles generally have more components connected to the fiber-optic network than BMWs. In Mercedes, components with fiber-optic connections generally can be identified by their orange optical cables.
The image on the left shows a typical Mercedes component layout. In Mercedes, vehicles’ multimedia components are typically located in the trunk near the driver side tail light, or in the bottom center area underneath the carpeting panel. Component locations will vary based on make and model, we will help you find them as needed. Once the component you wish to test is located, our fiber optic bypass will fit .
Other Vehicle Manufacturers - Checking Vehicle Compatibility:
Other Vehicles: Countless other vehicle manufacturers utilize MOST (Media Oriented Systems Transport) technology. To check compatibility simply locate one of the components in the trunk area and look for a fiber-optic cable connection; they are typically either orange or green cables. Once located, disconnect the connector from the component to check and see if it looks like a male MOST connector (reference the two male plug examples in the image on the left). Either style of male optical connectors loop shown in the photo are compatible with our fiber optic loop.
Note: There are additional styles of fiber-optic connectors out there, as long as the spacing and diameter of the two on the connector match, our loop will work. If you're not sure, you can always order one of our fiber optic bypass units, give it a try, and return it if it does not fit.. We promise, we wont be offended :)

This worked perfectly. Mercedes was going to charge $1895.00 to replace the module located behind the glovebox. After an hour of work we had sound. I highly recommend it!!!

I received the dreaded SOS error on my 2007 BMW after which I had no sound for 3 months. After doing some research I learned that it was likely to be the XM radio loop. I purchased the product to bypass it. Unfortunately, during that install I had difficulty locating the amp. However, I used the QR code on the package to locate a chat to have customer service support me with locating it. They sent over labeled pics! I now have sound and was able to save about 1200 bucks! Don’t hesitate to buy this product or lean on customer service for support!

I loved it.. it literally took 10 min. To place on my car... the hardest part was locating my satellite radio console in the trunk... i didn't have to break it, like I saw in videos, this part was ready to go.. worth the price saves tons of time.. 5 stars 4 sure..

I purchased this Bypass Loop Adapter although it didn't address my issue. I reached out to M&P USA using the info that was clearly provided in the packaging. I immediately got a response to send a Text to a number with my concerns which I did. Within minutes, I got a response from someone that expressed a genuine interest in helping with my situation. 2007 BMW 328i with no sound from the audio system. After a series of Text messages gathering information and eventually an offer to call me to help with troubleshooting steps (WHAT !! ???) Adam troubleshot the system down to the Amp that was most likely the culprit (which it turned out he was spot on !)He offered to search out the lowest cost Amp he could find for me to order in and made sure if for some reason it didn't fix my problem, I was able to send it back for a refund.I can't remember the last time (or any time for that matter) that I received this level of service from anyone.This Guy and his Business deserve more than the 5 Stars I was able to provide.Thank You. Thank You Thank YOU !!!

Took 10 minutes to remove connector, insert the loop and wrap the zip tie! Phone SOS error gone and my phone connects again!! Worth buying a quality product even if it’s a bit more expensive!!

2007 BMW 530i with that was getting an SOS Call System Malfunction warning indicator. I had no sound from my CCC system. I installed this bypass loop at the Satellite Radio module in the trunk. Apparently this is the module that failed. Module is located in the back left side of the trunk. Once the bypass loop was installed, all sounds returned and the warning light is gone.Great product, highly recommend.Note that a different module could be causing the issue, so you have to try all of them, one at a time, to see which one has failed.

The stereo cutting in/out In my wife’s BMW 330iHas been the source of irritation for the last 2+ years. Our local BMW dealer quoted us $1100 to fix this issue, which I politely declined. Recently I stumbled across this fiber optic loop fix on YouTube and decided to purchase one. Directions were straightforward and very easy, even for someone like myself who HATES chasing electrical gremlins. In our car there was four modules that could be suspect so one by one we pulled the green connector and placed the fiber optics loop into that connection (which affectively bypasses that module from the system) and then checked to see if the stereo was again operating correctly. Went through the entire system and to my dismay the issue still persisted. I remember reading many reviews before I purchased this Fiber optics loop and it was mentioned that the gentleman (Adam) who Manufactures and sells this item Is very willing to help troubleshoot if need be. Matter-of-fact there’s also a small card that accompanies this fiber optic loop with contact information should you have a problem. I contacted Adam and within 20 minutes I received a text message and then a phone call. Honestly can’t even remember the last time I had a vendor contact me willing to help remedy a situation. Adam went through each step with me and while doing so I explained that over the last 24 months I had replaced a couple of the modules with used in an effort to remedy the situation. Adam explained to me that these pieces have to be coded correctly with the same identical software for them to function properly In the system. He advised me to put the old modules back into place and then troubleshoot the system again. Within 10 minutes of doing this found that the TCU module that also handles Bluetooth for the car was defective. I can honestly say in all my years I have never experienced customer service like I received from this gentleman in his company. Definitely owe him a huge debt of gratitude. His product and customer service is second to no one.
