Bought this for my work radio. Once I plugged it in, it puts my radio in full talk mode and still can’t talk through it. Definitely sending it back!!!

This will only work for motorola style exact plugs not the chines radios so you are aware ! Build quality is good but its only for specific radios. Not sure what those are.

This OEM part is a very high quality microphone/speaker. The plug fits perfectly snug in the radio, and has great static free sound quality. All expected of an OEM Motorola part. The build quality, feel, and appearance are extremely tight. I have co-workers who have tried generic copies and are on thier 3rd and 4th products. My Supervisor has had his for over 16 years. "Buy once, cry once" he told me. I understand why. I expect this to last me decades.

Awesome OEM mic. Had these as standard issue at my last place of employment. Joined a new security company and no mics! Thats a no go for me, so I decided to spend some of my own money and get a proper mic for myself. Best money I've spent on a work item. What can I say, the connection fits snug, the press button / clip is of high quality, and I can finally get back to taking reports without fumbling around with the entire radio.Bonus tip: For you Security or Police professionals, mics pick up your voice just fine looking straight at a subject / witness etc.. No need to lean your head, unclip the mic and hold it in your hand, or take your eyes off of who you are engaging with. I used to be in charge of training at a large retail center of around 70 security officers, and this was part of my curriculum. I've seen countless security / police officer speaking to someone, then turn their head to key up, even so much as turn there entire upper body away from someone just to talk to their dispatcher / sergeant etc., thus taking their eyes off someone, and even putting themselves off balance. Just something I wan't to spread knowledge on. Again, can't go wrong with this mic, you won't regret it.
