I wanted a monitor without a screen and that I could use without needing to have ir plugged in at all times.This did the trick. I wish it had more coverage outside the house, that’s the only down side, but still fine for the price and the sound is very clear and NO static

Very happy with this Motorola Comfort10 sound monitor. Simple to use and elegant design. Works very well. We are using to monitor 99 yr old mother. Sensitivity and sound quality are great. One way talking is fine for us. Rechargeable parent unit is a big plus. High quality product.

Bought as a travel and second room monitor which works great for the price! Works down in our basement when baby is upstairs sleeping. The monitoring device is sleek and the handheld device has clear sound. Would recommend if you don’t need camera or as a spare!!

Pure garbage. If I hadn't thrown out the box already, I'd send it back. The battery n tje parent unit doesn't even last 6 hours at low volume, so I have to turn it off and then reconnect it to the baby in it every time I turn it back on at nap time. Today I'm just leaving it plugged in but it's crappy that I can't carry it with me so I can do stuff outside. Not that it would work, the range is about half that stated in the description. I expected better from Motorola and should've just bought the same one my daughter has at her house.

Thus thing shuts off constantly, I read one review that mentioned "pause mode" so apparently it gives you zero sound from the room unless your child cries out or is loud enough to hear. Great for some, not for me. We have a young toddler that gets out of bed and starts to play but the noises are not loud enough to trigger the "on" or sound to come through. I would not use this for any baby or young child as it appears it wouldn't pick up gurgles, gasps or "quiet" noises your baby is making.
