It doesn’t even reach 15 feet outside the bedroom.

Great little monitor, loud, clear, and simple. Only lasted half the year so I can’t give a full 5 stars.

This is a very good product. I got it for my baby. My house is soundproof, so I use it on my older children as well when they are napping, as they don't always get out of bed after their nap, and can just lie there quietly for a while wondering why I don't come say hello to them.I have run mine exclusively on battery so far, and it hasn't run out yet. I've only had it a week though, so i'd be horrified if it had.The sound is very clear; I keep ours on the lowest setting, and it's loud enough for me to hear over my cooking noise and fans blowing. It has a few seconds delay built in, so if your child is a noisy sleeper like mine, it doesn't alert you to every grunt and wiggle, but it does come on quickly when they start really crying. I find this very helpful. The product is very very small, so it doesn't get in the way when you carry it around on your belt, which I appreciate. I think the price was fair; I expected a cheap item for the low price, but I'm totally satisfied so far.

I love this little monitor. I primarily use it when visiting family for her naps. The main unit plugs in via usb and the parent unit is just double A batteries. Last night the power went out during a storm so we were without the regular video and audio monitoring. I plugged the main unit of this monitor into a backup charger I have for a cellphone. It worked perfectly and I felt comfortable enough to go back to sleep. I’m so glad I had it!

This is just what I was looking for: something without all the bells and whistles that would work. This is just an audio monitor that you can plug in or buy batteries to be mobile. It is surprisingly sensative and effective. It even mutes out our sound machine after a few seconds but picks up the baby cries. I also appreciate the visual signal that baby is crying even if the sound is turned down. Totally satisfied with this purchase.

I would never use this for more than very occasional naps. Hard to use. Doesn’t work great. Sometimes sound comes through sometimes it doesn’t. Feel like I’m using something from the 80s to be honest. Purchased for my mothers house when my child is over there occasionally and will have to replace it when he stays over for more than one nap cycle. Do not recommend…

I like that this product is small and from a technical standpoint it works great! One is in baby's room, the other end is plugged in the kitchen. That being said, I either didn't realize when purchasing, or the seller didn't mention, but BOTH monitors must be plugged in. I was hoping the receiving end I could carry around the house with me, but that's not the case. Not a big deal as this may have been my fault for not fully reading the description. But other than that I am satisfied.

The monitor has a great range and sound quality. I can take the monitor downstairs and hear the baby perfectly when he makes a peep. The colored lights that associate the intensity of the noise helps me understand if I need to run to attention or if I need to wait it out to see if the baby can self sooth. The value of the monitor is great. I'm not worried about dropping the parent unit as it is durable, and even if it broke, I would not break the bank to replace. I returned a more expensive monitor that cost $160 because I know that I will eventually drop the parent unit. The range and sound quality of this monitor is actually much better than the $160 monitor. Two downsides of this monitor:1) you have to replace the battery2) the parent unit doesn't stand on it's own. This means if you you are not seated looking down at the unit you need to pick it up to see the colored lights that are associated with intensity of sound
