Good quality, good price. I really like how compact these are and they fit tightly onto my handlebars. Mounting design screws are inaccessible and cannot be removed unless the unit is unlocked.

This is a barebones helmet lock for securing your helmet while you're off your bike. it's not very strong but it's stronger than a crackhead's skinny arms. the way to mount it is unintuitive, using different-length screws that pass through two and three pieces of steel and have to be screwed in at different points of the assembly process. I figured it out after a few mistakes and I don't think you could damage anything by doing it wrong but it was very frustrating. I'm very mechanically inclined, so I worry this might be an exercise in futility for most people. some basic instructions would go far!

Years ago motorcycle manufacturers put these kind of key operated hooks on our bike. Then they cut back to a cable that you had to lift the seat the wrap and secure under the seat and or use a padlock. Now they don't give you any type of method to sevure your helmet on your bike. I generally prefer to take my helmet everywhere with me having to carry it around. But there are occasions I would like to have a way to secure it on the bike to leave my hands free. Now I have it ! The lock works well and seems to be secure. The bolts holding the unit on the bike are hex heads so they're not as easy for someone to unscrew. There are 2 keys provided and a rubber strip for a smaller handle bar size. It's easy to operate and a great option to add for convenience when you need it. A great value for a good price. I'll update this with a photo once I install it on the bike.

Too small for my motorcycle but worked on my electric scooter. Made of aluminum feel ok and does a good job holding a plastic riding helmet. Not very well designed it only has one screw that tightens on the other is for secondary piece. Does manage to stay on though. Keys work as expected and it stays closed till you open it. Could be broken off if really wanted too. Quality fits price and works as intended.

I know it says this is made of aluminum, but I didn't expect it would be cast and so flimsy.Weak material, arrived cracked:It arrived with a large crack in the lock body. The crack is painted over meaning there is no quality control between casting and the rest of the manufacturing process - this is bad. One of the problems with cast aluminum is that if the casting is thin, it's prone to crack just from cooling down after the cast is poured. Cast aluminum is quite brittle, making it prone to breaking like glass.Bad design:Only 1 screw holds the lock body on. There is a second screw holding the clamp to the bar, but it doesn't pass through the lock body. Also, that second screw is a counter-sink head, but the clamp's hole isn't counter-sunk, so that screw - even gently tightened - is likely to spread that hole and snap or crush the flimsy clamp.Doesn't fit:My bars measure exactly 26.93 millimeters in diameter, well within the range of "22-28mm Handlebar Tubing" claimed. It simply will not fit - neither screw will even engage the threads. This disappoints me because even with the above flaws, I may still have used it just to "keep honest people honest", in the hope they wouldn't just jerk my helmet off the bike, which is all it would take.Sadly, there's no stars left for a Rando Brandnamian. :(

The band used to prevent scraping of metal on metal made the device unable to fit on my Rebel 500 (so I had to use electrical tape to prevent damage for device to work. So it is a bit more snug than what is said in description when you use the rubber piece.

I love, love, love this helmet lock! I have looked for some sort of helmet lock to fit on my Suzuki GXS 8S but have found it hard to find a lock to fit on the frame of my bike given the way the frame is built.I stumbled across this JAGASOL helmet lock and found exactly what I was looking for. This fits tucked up on the frame, behind where my leg is when I’m on the bike. It is unobtrusive and inconspicuous.The lock came with two keys, which is a nice feature to always have a backup. I have tried the locking mechanism with both of my helmets, one with metal D ring and one with the quick release buckle, and both work well.I highly recommend this helmet lock for someone looking for a frame mounted lock.
