No seperate bolts needed to install, very simple installation, plug and play. It does the job well enough as a steering lock

The lock does fit a surron but the bolts provided are too short and don’t fit a surron

It fits the Sur Ron Light B X Perfectly! I got my Sur Ron from Luna Cycles. I ordered this lock, to secure it a little more. I also do a cable lock, U lock and alarm as well. Not sure how strong it is though. I obviously did not test. But I suspect one, could just slam the handlebars / wheels really hard and snap the lock in 2. Hopefully one would just not bother though, and just walk away from it. But it does seem like a lock that could be broken with brute force. This goes for any brand or style of lock like this. In short, buy it! You never know. It may save your Sur Ron someday. I for one am glad I got it. Wicked cheap.

Easy to install!! I had it re keyed to a more complex pin set. Screws could be a little longer. It would be nice if we had the option of security screws.

The lock fits the 2024 Sur-Ron Light Bee X perfectly. Screws are the perfect length.I lightly crushed/scored the threads of the screws and added medium lock tight to make sure the screws stay in place. The lock mechanism is good quality and moves easily. This lock is not going to prevent all theft and could be smashed off with some effort. However, it will do the trick to stop someone wheeling my Sur-Ron away by preventing the handlebars from turning.I would not spend more than $35 on this lock. Other sites sell for $50+. I would have just drilled out the hole for a pad lock for that price.

The lock is great, not gonna stop a determined thief but that’s not what you should expect from something that was never thought of as definite way to secure your bike. It’s a theft deterrent, it’ll slow a pro down for a couple minutes; and perplex your common meth head. But in combination with a few other locks there’s a better chance your ride will be there when you get back. I would’ve given it five stars, but it came with 1/4” countersunk machine screws that barely made it through the metal plate it mounts to. You’ll need at least 1/2” machine screws, preferably torx or security torx.

The screws that come with this lock aren't long enough to thread all the way in when installed on a bike and the threads will simply shear instead rendering the lock useless

Product is marketed for the Surron, and I put it on my Talaria MX4, so I can't dock them for the screws being a little short. But the ability to lock the forks makes me feel SO much more comfortable leaving my bike when I'm running errands. I ride my bike around town all the time, if that's you too, then this is the cheapest must have upgrade you can get. Go get it.

Fits both Talaria Sting R MX4 and Talaria XXX, which is nice since there aren't many aftermarkets out yet for these bikes. The only issue is the screws aren't quite long enough, which is no fault of the manufacture since it was not specifically made for these bikes. Although its an easy fix, just purchase this item "MonsterBolts - #10-32 x 5/8" Flat Head Socket Cap Screws, ASTM F8356, Alloy Steel, Black Oxide, 10 Pack" and swap out the two screws. It would be nice if the key hole had a cover to protect it from the elements and during washing, so I am concerned about long term durability is the main reason for 4-stars and not 5-stars. Other than that its a nice part!
