Looked decent when I unboxed it, price was good…. Put it together did not use an impact to drive in the studs as suggested in the instructions and instead did it by hand with a wratchet….. mounted it on the existing tire bracket… went to put tire up to find out the 5x4.5 bolts were really at 5x4.42… just enough for the wheel not to fit… knocked 1 stud out so I could fit 2 in to get a position mark for the true spot hand tightened the lug nuts onto the studs and they spun in placeAfter drilling and welding I’ve made it work. The only reason I didn’t return it is the because it’d spend the same money on the same steel to make my own. I at least got to cover up the stupid logo in the center…Absolute garbage if you don’t want to rebuild it…Don’t waste your money unless you want a couple pieces of steel you can at least work with.

Spacer does exactly as needed. The studs are 3/4" too long and, like others have stated, the studs could turn in the hole when trying to remove the spare. I had to cut down the studs and then I tack welded each stud so it won't turn while romoving (which could be a real problem on the trail). The reason for 5 stars is it's US made and due to quick responses by the company to my issues and they offered a refund if I had any problems. So 4 stars for the product and 5 stars overall.

First off this product is very heavy duty! Very easy to understand instructions and best of all if you have done like me and added newer wheels to an older jeep (1997 TJ) this will allow you to add the right spare without having to modify the original spare carrier!I did have the issue with a stud that spun so I contacted the manufacturer via their website and they asked for a screen shot of my order and a pic of the stud. Within 30 min I got a phone call from them and they had a replacement to me in two days!So far I have been extremely happy with this product and would highly recommend it not only for the product but because of the customer service after the sale.

Looks great without tire. Easy to install and now tire doesn’t rub bumper. Would recommend

If you need an extension on your tire carrier after changing rims this will work great. Built solid and good welds. Easily bolts into place using existing studs. Great value for the money. Doesn’t affect how the top come off your Jeep.

This is well made and easy to install. The stock tire mount did not allow my 33" tire to clear the bumper on my Jeep TJ. . After adding the MotoFab spacer I had plenty of clearance in both the outward and upward direction. It is built very well and does the job. One note, you will need to buy a spacer for your 3rd brake light as it will not have enough clearance to be seen above the tire, that is an extra expense. I would buys this again.

I ordered this for my 2006 Honda CRV because it has a wheel on the back like a jeep and bolt pattern is 5x4.5. Product fits well but the coating on it had manufacturing defects right out of the box. My replacement had scratches on it like it was used. One of the locking nuts failed and kept turning without thightening- had to buy better nuts at Lowes. You're going to need a wrench to install as sockets won't fit the inside space. Lastly, the instructions are wrong. You need to mount a tire on with the lug bolt while holding the lug bolt or else it won't screw in properly.

This was a great addition to my Jeep and it has held my big spare tire well. The only problem is, my lug nuts do not fit the bolts that come with the tire spacer. There was one nut but it is not a standard size. It took a couple of trips to Home Depot to find a fit and it was a complete accident so I don’t know the actual size. I sent a message to the seller and never got a response. Now I need a lock to keep the tire from getting stolen but what size? 😐
