I bought these to use to help change a bladed accessory and it does just fine to make the locking mechanism work I had do do a little creative bending but it works fine good for the price

I worked in surgery where we used these. I now use them to handle threads on my sewing machine since my hands and fingers do not work as well as they did when I was younger. They are also good for many other things when you need fine skills.

These were likely fails from the manufacturing plant. They are the typical low quality products if this type from that area. That said, someone put a whole lot of time and effort into cleaning them up and making them usable. But definitely not for anything medical. Not too tight, and no sharp edges. Works for my use though and that's enough.They get two extra stars for their efforts! Thus 3 stars instead if what would've been only one.

It may be a bit hard to tell by these photos, but this is one of the worst products I've ever purchased on amazon. Total junk! The teeth that are supposed to interlock don't interlock at all. Two of the teeth have deep gouges that go across the line of the teeth which prevents them from interlocking. I had to try bending the handles to straighten them as they were crooked. Also, they don't line up properly where the teeth meet.These things don't work. Therefore, they are useless and worthless. Had it of been possible, I would have given zero stars.

These work great for holding the tiny and slippery pieces of piercings (e.g., captive bead) to make installation easier. Not sure how I went so long without having this helpful tool! Opening the forceps takes more force than I would like, but otherwise these are perfect for my use.
