I have 2 closet doors 🚪. The house is over 100 years old. Great that it's a 2 pack. They add a nice classic look. They can be set up to work on a single door as well. Easy install as well.

I keep meaning to take pictures for a review but I keep forgetting so maybe I’ll add afterwards. But these are amazing, honestly I’m not sure why I thought they didn’t make replacements for antique doors, our home has original doors in the master bedroom (literally the only room, weird)But both of the knobs loosened and bent and we simply couldn’t keep screwing then in and playing Tetris to open the door to the closet so, one google search and wow. They make these! Easy to install, functional 100%, (even had keys). They are sleeker than the original look. Love!!!!

Just a TINY bit off of vintage American measurements so had to recut end seating with a chisel and had to re-drill key hole opening. These are not complicated keys. BUT the keys are matched to locks, unlike my experiences with generic vintage interior door knobs in many houses I have worked with in United States.Missing a key, one would buy an inexpensive "Universal Skeleton" at hardware store. All interior doors would work.I do not know how many variations of key they have, this is a mass produced item. But if you buy and fit more than one, do not expect one key to work in any other. If you don't have tools it would be frustrating.Minor considerations when taking into solidness of construction.Comes with 4 solid skelton keys that are marked with a letter/number. THESE ARE individually matched to locks. I have bought two and keys are NOT interchangeable. "Universal Skelton keys" will NOT work in these.

I abolutely love the look of these. I bought several of these to replace the original old broken ones. My house was built in the 1940's. They fit perfectly in my original old doors. You can't get doors like these anymore. (well maybe you can for between $300-$400 per door.) One note that I was not aware of at the time I ordered. All the keys to these doors are different. They are unique to the door knob you ordered. I ordered 6 of these door knobs and therefore have 6 different keys. I need to contact the seller about getting a master key to the door knobs so as to have only one key to all doors. Doesn't make sense to have 6 dif keys when all the doors are located in the same house. Other than that I'm really happy with my purchase. ** update, just got a message from the seller, that they do not have a master key to provide for this. I'm still happy with my purchase though.

Install went fine and looked good. On second use the mortis locking mechanism collapsed (I can see the deadbolt hanging diagonally and there’s a piece obstructing the key hole. So now I can’t unlock the door, which means I can’t remove the lock to return for a refund. I’m going to have to destroy the lock to remove it. Cheap and not worth the hassle. Avoid

These are not standard door knob sizes. Cute though.

I love these door knobs so much I have them installed in almost every door in my house. For reference I own a house built in the 1850s and they had almost all the original handles still installed which I loved but none of them had keys for them so I couldn’t lock them. I though I would see how this knobs looked and function. Install process does take a little skill. If you aren’t familiar with using a chisel and drill bits I would recommend getting some help installing this door knobs. Once installed they look great and to period of an older home they come with 2 keys but don’t lose them I’ve order about 8 of these and I still have yet to get ones with the same key. I’m not sure if the manufacturer would be able to/willing you send you a replacement key if lost I haven’t had to look into it. PLEASE READ THIS PART IF YOU BUY THIS OR ANY PRODUCT LIKE THESE —->There is one very important note/sorta flaw to this knob when installing this you absolutely have to make sure the locking mechanism can fully lock. If the the locking mechanism isn’t able to go fully out in the door frame you will get locked in/out of the room and you will have to take the door off the hinges or worst kick it down because the lock won’t unlock no matter how hard you crank on. After I drilled the hole of the locking mechanism a little deeper I haven’t have a single problem with them since.

Overview; It was cheap and I got what I paid for. The door mechanism is absolutely horrible and feels like sand in the threads of a garden hose. Makes you cringe when opening and closing the door. The door latch and plate are undersized in my opinion.Pros:- Looks like advertised.- CheapCons:- Rough mechanism.- Door latch is tiny.- Door jam plate is equally tiny.- Cheap.I wouldn't recommend it and I'll probably get something else to replace this.

I am updating this review and changing it to a five-star review due to the excellent customer service response to my initial issue. I was contacted immediately and before I could even respond the company confirmed that they were sending out a replacement lock. I received it several days later and was able to easily get it installed. The new lock works perfectly. It's great to see a company back its products with such great customer service. Thank you! This is the second lock I purchased and unfortunately, it broke after two weeks. The spring latch is stuck inside the mortise case, so the door does not latch properly. It appears that the latch is "loose" inside the case, so it is stuck on the side of the opening.
