Marble Mortar and Pestle Set
Cleaning steps before first use
1. Soak in salt water for 30 minutes first.
2. Use a brush to scrub away the remaining stone powder on the inner wall.
3. Mash oily ingredients such as sesame or peanuts, add a little edible oil to coat the inner wall, leave it for 2-3 hours, and then wash it off to complete. This will allow for the removal of any granite dust and slightly polish the mortar.

Grinding surfaces: a bit abrasive, with even small ridges in the base & an even surface in the top.Surface & base: even & smooth.The 2 parts fit well, leave just enough room & don't bind up: but because of this, it's for small or fine grinding & you won't be able to fit a lot of stuff in the base, if you want to really grind it up.

I found it very hard to use especially for the dried herbs. The ridges don't help I thought that they would after I found out that it had them but they really don't help at all

This mortar & pestle is made of beautiful marble and the design is the best. The pestle has a wide base that fits perfect ally in the base; and can really fine grind fry and freeze-dried garlic and other herbs.I love it! It looks like a beautiful sculpture in my kitchen. I recommend this style and the price is great for this type of craftsmanship.

鉢と乳棒の径が同じ方が飛び散らずに出来て良いかと思ったけど、力が分散されるのか細かく擦ることはできない。次買うとしたら乳棒細いやつにするかな。

This mortar and pestle is just perfect for me. Not too large, just the right size for frequent use. Easy to clean. Great weight and feel. Ergonomically designed, it feels good in your hand. And works like a charm.

Really was very pleased at how beautiful this piece is. I have a stainless, common style one also. This took a little bit to get used to as there's not as much maneuvering room when grinding. But it's much faster when grinding spices, and very comfortable to use!

This set is beautiful. It works well. The only thing I would love to do is test it out with a typical mortar and pestle set. My boyfriend was saying that he thought I could get a finer grain if I had the typical pestle. I do not know if this is factual. I am keeping it since it works for what I need.
