They are just what they say they are. Brown glass bottles. They hold a full liter of liquid and none of mine leak. I am using them to store darkroom chemicals, some of which are light sensitive. I subtracted a star because one of the eight that I ordered arrived broken.

One bottle arrived shattered, glass slivers had worked themselves into the threading in the caps of the other 3 bottles, there are also glass slivers covering all 3 remaining bottles. Broken glass had even made its way out of the internal box into the larger shipping box.
