The graduated markings are so far off that they are completely useless. For example, 250ml of water reads at the 300ml marking!!

Out of the box is had one male screw on (glass) portion shatter when I loosely put the plastic cap on.The other bottle has visible defects in the glass that are likely to cause fracturing in the immediate future, or as soon as I try to screw the lid on, most likely.This is 2 products that are faulty, the 1L and the .5L 2 pack bottles. The first 1L bottle I tried to use and found the glass screw on neck breaking and fracturing is not safe enough to photograph because it contains a caustic I am having to be very cautious with the disposal. I absolutely cannot angle the bottle around so all can see the broken glass that resulted from about 1-2 pounds of torque on the flexible plastic lid.

So i ordered 3 of these now. The first one with the darker blue lid i love. The 2nd i ordered came with the light blue lid and the lid was to tight to get on and off. I returned it hoping it was just a fluke it was different. So now this is my 3rd one i ordered and it has the same really tight light blue lid. I tried the darker lid on the bottle and it fit perfectly. So i will not trust this light lid in a pc to vent if left a bit loose for the purpose of venting pressure. Im keeping this bottle anyways but these light blue lids need to be made better and not fit so tight, it feels like you have to force it on and off. I hope the company goes back to the darker blue lid. I bought these to work with agar and to use in a pressure cooker. As long as the lid is loose to vent it works great. But as i said i dont trust this new light blue lid to vent as its way to tight and tuff to take on and off. The glass is great and holds up to pc.

The body of the bottles themselves seem quite sturdy but the biggest defects are along the top of the bottles where I found multiple chips on the lips of the bottles. The chips are significant enough to prevent easy pouring and cause dripping down the side of the bottle.

This media bottle is perfect for mixing and heating ingredients. Can also be put into an autoclave or pressure cooker due to the high quality glass. Unfortunately, the measurement markings are slightly off. Other than that this bottle is good for your scientific needs. Recommended!

Good product, does what I need it to do and has a sturdy feel. Well leak proof, although it's somewhat difficult to wash, hence the 4 stars. Overall great product!

These worked great for bottle top filtering. Held a seal well and we’re accurate in measuring the contents. Very durable and easy to clean. The measurement label on the bottle held up with zero visible damage after a 20minute autoclave at 15psi. Have already made a recommendation to a friend. Can’t beat it for the price.

The jar is not properly cast with some visible flaw on the surface; the same thing happens to the cap.However the whole thing seems airtight in design and by description, it resists autoclave temperature.Not the best bottle to put my new media in, but they are relatively good bottles.3/5, need better quality, this one piece worth less than $2
