Not sold on something that adds expense for entirely frivolous, extraneous,, extrinsic, and excessive presentation of assorted superfluous fashion color rings instead of putting the cost towards improving the actual microphone. Just plain silly marketing that's hard to take seriously.

Sieht interessant aus, und ist erstaunlich Kompakt!Super-Niere für den Preis ist fantastisch, und die Ringe geben viel Gestaltungs-Möglichlichkeit!Sound ist ok, etwas schlechter als mein SM58, der Formfaktor macht das aber klar wieder wett!Man muss aber über die Halterung reden:Während das Mikrofon kompakt und effizient mit intigriertem Polfilter und primitivem Schock-dämpfer gebaut ist, wirkt die Halterung eher klobig:Fixierung ohne wackeln braucht viel Kraft, und bringt diesem eigentlich sehr leichtem Mikro viel Gewicht mit.Für manche Mikrofonarme kann das ein Problem sein, obwohl es Gewichtlicht unter vielen vergleichbaren Mikros liegt!

This mic is superb with the GoXLR. It works perfectly and is my stream favorite. It is clear and precise, though it doesn’t come with the noise suppression foam cap.

JUST FOR EVERYONES AWARENESS BECAUSE I DIDN’T KNOW! It didn’t come with the XLR cable which you need to use it! And it’s gonna take a week for one of them to get to you…

My friends can hear me clearly. I get laughs because people will ask me in games if I am a streamer because my mic sounds good.

I have a lot of dynamic mics, Shure SM7B, sE Dynamite, Podmic, on and on. Plus great Condenser mics too.Nuemann TLM 103, Rode NT1, etc etc.... I have been trying to EQ my voice for spoken word. All these mics with the exception of the sE Dynamite, didn't quite make it. Including the 103. (It's not the 103, it's me)Look, I am no expert. I am sure another more experienced person could have done soooo better at EQ'ing my voice with the other great mics. I don't blame the mics believe me. Far from it. I'm kinda upset as I have expensive mics. Hah But, right out of the box, this mic was it. It was made for me. Tight low end, not too sibilant and great mids. For MY voice. I didn't need to do much at all to get it right. This is a great dynamic mic. That I do know. It is well worth the $150. Again, the guys that moved on to Beacon that created this mic did an outstanding job. I just bought the white one too. Thank you TC Helicon. I hope you sell massive amounts because it in fact is a great mic. You can't go wrong with this mic but you might get pissed off that it is fairing better than a lot of other expensive mics!!

Me encantó el diseño, hablando de sonido es mucho mejor que un MV7 y un PodMic, por un costo intermedio, las voces son más limpias y con unos graves excelentes, ni muy bajo como el podmic ni tan exagerados como el MV7, nunca conseguirá lo que el SM7B pero por menos de la mitad del precio de ese la verdad es que no le pide nada para streams/videos

If, like me, your desk boom ends in a 3/8" instead of a 1/4", you will need your own adapter to mount this microphone, or lose the articulated elbow.Most of the people buying this mic, let's face it, won't have these handy.Honestly TC Helicon, cut out the 9 colored rings and include this adapter on revisions! How obnoxious!

Absolutely great mic for the value but it is in desperate need of a shock mount. I have the mic suspended using an Elgato desk boom arm to help a bit, but with every tap or movement is very noticeable. I'm not sure if TC - Helicon is even thinking about making a shock mount due to the original creators have left to create Beacon. Unfortunately it is so noticeable that I am in the market yet again for a great microphone setup.
