The narrow profile uses less space on shelves, refrigerators and autoclaves. The new style cap has wider knurls for a more comfortable grip. It also requires 1/3 less turns to secure a closure.

We use Corning Pyrex at the lab to store most of our liquid media and they work great there.I'm using these to hold concentrated Calpis, Calpis, tea, and water at home. They look great and feel very high quality as expected. Definitely 0% chance of leeching anything into your drinks.
