Getting the old one out was an absolute PROCESS, but the new one fit in so much easier and now I don’t have any more clatter when going over bumps. Highly recommend.

Was part of front end rebuild to get Rid of Ford Death wobble. Has a grease fitting unlike Ford OEM so should add to longevity. Solid built part. So far no Death Wobble.

Nice quality ball joint with it being grease-able as a bonus. Used it as my track bars ball joint replacement, fit perfect.

First off let me help you understand a regular ball joint press will not work with this. You need an actual press at least 12 ton. Pressed out the old joint, cleaned the bar and pressed the new one in. Everything was smooth and straight press until I bottom it out and find out there’s no way the snap ring is going in. I have used moog joints well over 15 years in many vehicles and am disappointed with this. I’ve never had one not fit.

Truck is a 2015 F350:I had this Moog Trackbar Balljoint professionally installed because I didn’t want to invest half a day+, and 3 trips to Harbor Freight along with likely $100’s in new tools to complete it myself. I did install the moog trackbar myself and it took about 30 minutes, however the alignment was fried, and the factory ball joint was way too easy to move around once the track bar was off of it. It was obvious that the ball joint was part of the death wobble issue. I also previously replaced the steering stabilizer with the Bilstien, which mostly got rid of the wobble, but I just wanted to make sure the suspension was bulletproof. I had a tire shop that does a lot of truck lifts perform the ball joint install and the handbook says it is a 3 hour job for a pro. At a $130 hour shop rate the labor was about $400, plus the alignment. The shop said a major contributor to my truck’s death wobble was 3 bad tie rods they identified. I had them do at the same time. After the trackbar, the tie Rods, the steering stabilizer, and the ball joint, death wobble/loose feeling suspension is eliminated. Total fix for my truck = $1,000 and some of my time. I love my truck again!
