We recently had a conterfit bill passed to one of our sales reps which prompted this purchase. These seemed to have the best rating so went ahead and bough enough for all of our sales reps. First day we got them out to everyone someone used it and showed a counterfit bill. They confiscated it as well as collected a new one that tested fine. We took it to a bank and indeed it was counterfit! It has become a standard practice for our team and is simple to use. Make a mark in the middle of the bill and see if it turns colors. Super easy and highly recommend.

These work to detect the type of paper a Federal Reserve Note is printed on to inform you via color change if that note is real or fake. If the ink turns black the note is fake and if the ink turns gold the note is real. Easy enough for a basic employee to understand. Overall quality is acceptable and performs as designed.
