I have over 25-years in IT and love testing things. The Money Marker Counterfeit Bill Detector Pens are listed in the: Amazon Best Sellers in Counterfeit Bill Detectors - #1 and #2 of 100.I tried this on several different denominations of US Currency [without having access to any fakes], and they did prove accurate [at least I hoped].I did approach a Gas Station Owner friend, to ask him to try it, only to find he had been using this same Pen for some time with success in all of his Gas Stations. It has been able to spot a number of fakes for him.I would highly recommend this Item.

These seem to work as they should. I plan to be making some local cash sales this year and thought they would be good to have.Years ago I worked in table games in a small casino. We used markers like these to mark every bill we took in. How they work is very simple. Something to do with starches I believe? Of course these won't catch bleached/reprinted bills, but they will point out any bill printed on wood-based paper!

This is an excellent collection of counterfeit bill detector pens. They are easy to use. You take your money, mark it and if the mark is golden it is good. If you bill is bad the mark is dark and you are holding a counterfeit bill. I have tried it on regular paper and the mark turns dark. If you are looking for a good marker to detect fake money this is the set for you. They work well and you get a bunch.

If you sell used merch, you know the nagging feeling of "what if they give me counterfeit bills?". Fortunately, I've never had that happen. But I did just sell a $3200 drone (with thermal imaging) and had to take 32 one hundred dollar bills to the bank. If I had these markers, I would have checked the bills before handing over the merch. The price of 23 USD for an 18pk seems to be the going price so I would say it is a fair price. I would probably order these again.

The pen works as intended. Is saturated and I like that it has a bold angled tip. Most money pens are fine point, but run out of ink fast.

This comes with 18 pens. I technically only needed 2 or 3, but hey, I have extras to keep in my purse or desk or wherever. I ordered these for my garage sale. It's always good to be able to check every large bill you get. The price for 18 pens was about the same as ordering a couple so I went ahead and got the pack. It's always good to have extra. Works as described.

Works like a Charm!Definitely identifies the Good Stuff from the Bad Stuff..One of these pens can be used just as a felt-tip regular marker, too...But it has that added bonus of, if you happen to bump into currency in your writing path... it will dim to a faint golden glow on that paper, whereas with all other paper... remains a brilliant dark brown-black color.That's pretty cool!As an example, I stacked a bunch of bills and marked them along one edge, as seen in the picture.You can see the white paper beneath / behind the bills, tho, where that same extended line turns totally black!But the stack of bills just have a little golden hue to them.Impressive!
