I have a Black light in the form of a flash light and it worked okay except some security features didn't show with my black flash light. When i ordered this product, I realized that it works very well and highlighted ALL of the security features that the UV flash light didn't highlight. I recommend this product for both the price and the results. It works very well on ALL notes, not just USA notes.

This is a great machine that provides an instant way to discern counterfeits apart from real bills. Chemicals used to manufacture conventional papers, as in those that are used to manufacturer counterfeits, react and reflect UV light like a mirror, hence "lighting" up. Conversely, US banknotes are treated in such a way so that its paper portion do not react to it, save for its security features in the form of colored bars that light up only when UV lights are shone through.Additionally, this product has a sensor module which turns on the UV light only when a bill is placed so you won't need to worry about running up the electric bill or harming your eyesight due to prolonged exposure. It works instantly, and easy to operate making it perfect for even the most busiest commercial settings. You can power it by either plugging it into an outlet or just with a single AA battery, making it extremely portable and easy to maintain. It is currently listed below $40 ( Nov. 2023) which ironically makes this a steal given how effective and accurate the product is in counterfeit detection. Just think about the time and money you'd save in training and the time it would take for an employee to call a manager to verify and accept bills he/she isn't sure about, and even then it wouldn't be a guarantee. Perfect rating, I would highly recommend it to others.
