The item is made of a flimsy plastic that cracked and broke within the first couple hours when my toddler yanked on the pantry door.It had a hard time sliding atop the door and after it broke the same day, I realized we wasted our money with this one.I recommend getting a metal one, because at least it's sturdy

I have a folding door on my linen closet. I bought this to keep my toddler out of the closet as we store games and such there.i couldn't fogure out how I wpuld baby proof it. It works! I'm very impressed with the ease of installation and use. Seems pretty sturdy!

I love this product! My daughter’s nursery has a double folding door entry to her closet, and with as curious as she is I knew I needed something to keep her out of the closet and safe. This product does the trick! Super easy to install and uninstall, as well as being super easy to use!Being tall, I don’t need to stick that it comes with and can just slide it using the handle.This is a single item so if your room has two doors you’ll need to purchase two.

It's really shocking how much easier this cheap little piece of plastic made my life.I have a puppy who loves to push open the bi-fold doors to come upstairs into my home office, which is not something I want to happen. I kept trying to find solutions to keep the door shut, most of which included jamming a shoe between the door and the bottom stair. Puppy is smart and learned to open the door a crack and pull the shoe out. I tried different shoes. Eventually I jammed yoga blocks into the space. This stopped the puppy, but those are supposed to be used for yoga! Plus, so annoying to have to remove them every time I needed to open the doors.Literally just buy this thing. It slides right on top of the door and your bi-fold door is now locked. It's ridiculously simple but it solves the problem immediately. Just remember to slide it back in place before leaving a puppy (or child) unsupervised!

Easy to install. Keeps the kids from getting their fingers pinched in the door. The price was good although I wish it was a little more sturdy plastic. It does the job for the little ones but if an adult yanks on the door it may break.
