The scanner kit arrived in what looked like a box that had already been opened, most likely a return. The items inside looked to be in good condition. Decided to try the turntable first before unpackaging the rest of the items. Right out of the box the Turntable did not turn, my guess is that's why it looked like it had been returned, because it had. Downloaded the software and attempted to create an account as per the instructions but the link did not work. Tried for a couple of days but nothing. I decided to go no further and returned the whole set. Don't know if the scanner itself is any good since I never got that far. Just based on the simplest part of the kit not working, the poor instructions and their website being down I can not recommend this scanner.

The one I bought always lost tracking fast. really hard to get a good scan. Borrowed a friends and it was 10x better. It's like a lottery as to whether you get one that works.

I was a bit hesitant as I am new to 3D scanning but this Mole 3D scanner is easy to use. The clear instructions allowed for a smooth and straight-forward set up.The device and the accompanying software allowed me to capture detailed scans of objects around my home. The scanner is very accurate and provides very detailed scans.I am excited to unleash my creativity and have some fun with this new purchase. It's beginner-friendly, accurate, and fun! I'd recommend this product.
