3.How to determine the size of the positioning targets used by your 3D scanner?
Measure the diameter of the innermost circle of the original positioning target point you used. The innermost circle diameter is the target point size used by your 3D scanner, for example: 12mm, 6mm, 3mm, 1.5mm, 0.8mm, 0.4mm;

Cutting process used on markers not done correctly (too deep) They can be very difficult to remove from backing sheet cleanly making for a time consuming process to use markers, some can’t be removed at all. Some sheets were ok, some just went in the bin. I would look at other brands if I were to buy again.

These are picked up by my Revopoint scanners just fine. They seem on par quality wise. Its amazing how many of these things you go through doing scans. Pro Tip: put them on magnets so you can reuse them!

I think these are better than the ones from creaform because they are on a flat sheet they don’t curl like the ones on a roll.

Great cost savings and they work better than the Creaform positioning dots. They also come on sheets and are easier to manipulate.

The adhesiveness is very weak - it might be better suited for specific types of surfaces, but I'm not complaining too much. It's very good value. It works with the Creaform HandySCAN Black Elite at my job.

The quality on these seems to have gone down hill. All of the sudden, on the last 2 packages, multiple targets separate from their sticking backing. In addition, when trying to remove a target from an object, the plastic layer with the sticky backing tends to stay on the object, while the target portion just peels off. This is not good for customer relations, obviously.

I have used them on a couple scans now and have seen no issues. Although I dont know the science behind making good targets, they seem to work just fine. A fraction of the cost of the last targets I was buying.
