I have had this scanner for several months now, and it has not yet produced a single usable scan, regardless of the settings I use. All scans are terrible. I actually get better scan results using the LiDAR Scanner and some random apps on my iPhone.The scanner claims to be able to scan dark color, bright colors, faces, and more. Nope, nope and nope. I've tried it all and none have worked. Nothing has come out with any form of result that is useable.Please save yourself the hassle and stress and go with something else. I've purchased multiple Creality printers (which have been good at first, but have since let me down to the point I no longer use them) and other products. But my purchases of Creality products ends with this scanner. It's completely useless.

Seems to me that the ferret scanner and Microsoft doesn’t work well together! Still trying to get it to work on my computer! Not as simple as I thought it should be.Windows 10 pro.

I purchased through the company. When i questioned their claims, they continued to make the excuse that it was a USER problem, like I didn't know what i was doing and needed more instruction. Really??? I was building computers in the beginning of the 90's and followed this tech ever since. This is not a hobby for me, I have been using every type of 3d program since before Ray Dream designer came out. This is an example of a company selling hardware to fund the research. They may get to the place that will meet their claims, but this does NOT DO what it says. I cannot get a detailed useable model out of it, but they claim it will. 500bucks down the drain.

The 3d scanner with a direct connection to a laptop computer with the full software application worked ok after steep learning curve. However, the wifi connection only worked intermittently and the phone app version of the software was almost useless ... it didn't convert scans to any usable format and so it required transferring to a computer with the full software package anyway which was difficult since the wifi connection was so quirky. No instruction provided with the scanner and the online information was inadequate for anyone new to 3d scanning.
