My first purchase of this product was a factory reject that once opened to insert batteries never would screw back together again no matter how I tried. I sent an e-mail to MOJO and never received a reply (You suck) and returned it with a note of complaint. They sent me another decoy as a replacement and this one actually screws back together and works. I have not tried it on a duck hunt yet, but it does create ripples in the pool and so far, has not leaked!

Goes through batteries. You may get 6 hours out of one set. I would suggest rechargeable batteries.

Perfect addition to my spread near the feeder decoys. I use duracell quantum batteries and it makes lots of ripples.

Put new batteries prior to first hunt and died mid hunt. This rippler gives GREAT action and definitely decoys birds in but died during first hunt after being on for a few hours. Going to need to bring replacement batteries for future hunts.
