This kept wasps out of my parking shelter and has also gotten me about nine neighbor and family members asking me if I “knew about that huge hornet nest.” If it can trick a grown human /and/ a wasp? Primo product. We use a magnetic hook to keep it attached to the metal roof. Sometimes it blows off during windstorms but it is easily retrieved.

I get it. When you have wasps, you’ll try just about anything to get rid of them. This thing is just exploiting that. I’ve had it for about 4 months now and wasps started using it to build their own super nest. Dumb. My own fault. Just don’t make the same mistake I did.

We live out in the country by the lake. We are constantly getting taken over by dirt daubers, yellow jackets, carpenter bees, and worst of all the Mack daddy red wasps that just sting you because they’re just as hot and miserable outside as you. I had heard about hanging a fake hornets nest like a brown paper bag but all that would do around here is draw more spiders. I searched fake hornet's nest and this product appeared. Compared to all the others, it was a little pricey. But look at it. It’s made of weatherproof material, able to withstand an Arkansas thunderstorm. So what the heck, I thought I would try a couple. It would be worth a shot to be able to use our patio again and even walk out the door without a new wasp nest showing up in my wreath. It would be nice not to feel like every day you had to “defend” your own porch from “evaders”! When these came in, I was skeptical. They were crumpled up in a plastic bag and looked kinda cheap. (I’m not really sure what I was looking for.) I read the directions and hung them up. I might add to put a few pieces of gravel in the bottom just so it doesn’t blow in the wind too much. Y’all, it’s just pretty darn amazing! There are no mud nests on the ceiling in our pavilion, no wasps nests in the eaves of our house, and I have yet to be dive bombed when I walk out the door! I will say we are just in the first part of May but they’ve usually at least stung one of the dogs by now but so far we have all been safe! However, I returned to order some more of these and they are SOLD OUT!!! I sure hope they get more of these in soon because I’m giving them to friends and family! They are a game changer! Now if someone could invent something like this for ticks, chiggars, and snakes, I would be eternally grateful!🤣

I had a bad time with yellowjackets. My neighbors (I lived in an apartment) had trash piled up constantly. As a result, we had yellowjackets everywhere. I kept getting a nest in my patio area. I called for pest control about once a week. Finally, I got this. They never came back. It's not perfect. I'm sure some wasps are just determined, but it definitely worked for my little patio. I didn't even SEE a wasp after I put it up. I gave it 4 stars because I only used it in a very small area, and I don't know how it will work now that I have a house with a covered deck. I will update once I know for sure. I did buy a second one for the front of my house. We shall see!

Purchased in 2021, made the mistake of leaving outside for almost 2 years straight, still in perfect condition. Now I now to take out in April and take down in fall. Out of stock for awhile, so purchased through viabox directly from compony but would prefer to purchase through Amazon.ca

This is truly a product that lives up to its promises! I have had it for several years and it looks just as good as when it came out of the package but even better we have had NO WASPS since hanging it up! We were having to spray weekly for nests now we have not sprayed since we hung it up. But it now

Every year we've have yellow jackets creating a hive. Well, last year I didn't notice we had one near my mother's mini van I was cleaning, and while cutting branches away from the vehicle, I'd kicked a 4x4 into the dirt, out of my way. Guess who didn't know there was a nest there, didn't realize that those weren't ants all over until she was swarmed? Yup. This one.Accidentally killed one, had them swarm. Ran past hive on ground, had them go absolute "murder her!" on me. Were all over my back, and through wearing two tank tops and jeans with boots, was I think all that saved me from worse. I had FIVE stings. And I can't take allergy meds unless I wanna go horror movie creeper crawler on the ceilings. So this year I decided to look up a fake nest. See if I could find anything like it. This came up, and despite it being more costly I was all . . . yes. I'm the only one tending the yard, I don't want another nest cropping up, and we have baby cottontails often in our yard during Spring, so I bought this, put it up just as the weather starting warming after the last frost or so. Have only seen the rare yellow jacket flying around our cherry tree, haven't seen any nesting (from all the normal places and where I've checked), and I am SUPER glad of that. I may end up getting one next year for the back yard just to be sure I've got all the spaces covered. It's really well made. I am super thankful. I live in the PNW so I couldn't do a paper one.

This required work as we could not get the wrinkles out with just blowing air into the hole. I had to cut open the back and stuff it with plastic bags , about 15, to get it to puff up and look like a nest. Glue gunned the opening i had cut in the back to close. However, this WILL get rid of carpenter bees and wasps. Every single day for the past 2 months a carpenter bee flies nonstop in my walkway to my front door. Also had wasps nests in a tree near my house. Never seen them since I hung this. I made a nest myself out of a paper bag and that worked too, but this is waterproof and wont dissolve, worth the effort. You will NOT see any wasps or bees if you hang this.
