I bought this for use on a wood lathe. Color transfer was no different than an actual colored crayon. I can't detect any difference in the hardness of the wax or the saturation of color between this and a Crayola.My test was on 2x2 kiln dried pine out of my scrap bin. I intentionally didn't sand or worry about tear out. I applied with the lathe on slow speed. Color transfer was only to open grain, the wax didn't soften with friction and you could not smudge it in. I then used a wood stick to burnish, it just scraped it off. I tried different pressures, tried to burnish to build up good heat and re-applied. Nothing I tried made it work.I apologize, I didn't not bother with testing finishes over top of the wax to see how they worked together. I honestly think you would run into some issues but I can't verify that as a fact.

This is nothing more than a waxy grey crayon. It broke immediately but it was srill usable. That being said, for my purpose which was covering a small scrape on a grey leather chair it worked ok. I'm sure I'll have to repeat the process again and again. Had I known that this is what it was, I would have gotten my kids crayons and done it for free.

I love this product I recommend it you might have to buy different colors to match your cabinets but sometimes they get nicked or dinged and all you do is put it on it's almost like they're back to brand new again

Discovered this product when a new dining rom set was delivered & had 2 chairs with chipped paint. The store tech came out & had a set of Mohawk Blendal sticks. A mix of beige & white touched it up with perfect match! I called Mohawk & they gave me the merchandise # to find it on Amazon. I ordered the 2 shades I needed & the seller was beyond helpful. All colors imaginable that u could need.

Unfortunately it didn't work on the very smooth wood which I tried to use it on. It couldn't quite clear the scuff.It probably would work better on bigger dents or scratches and if so would be good value for money.
