Container looked between 1/2 and 3/4 full when opened, not sure what happened ? Also material had a tan color and I was expecting white. I have used this product in the past and was satisfied with the finished result.

Using it to fill melamine holes caused by screws. You can completely hide the holes with this stuff. Easy to apply, dries quickly. Once it's painted they are invisible. Excellent product.

This wood filler works great. I have tried many others with varying degrees of success, but this one is the best yet.

If you’ve been struggling to find a product that can fill a nail hole on the first attempt, look no further than the Famowood Wood Filler. It dries fast, sands easily and fills small holes in wood the first time around rather than applying 2-3 coats with other fillers. Other than the lid being hard to get off the first time you open the can, this product is next to perfect.

This is probably the best wood filler I've ever used. The latex gives it a bit of elasticity, making it easy to apply both flat or in holes or channels. It also goes on without any bubbling like some other fillers such as Elmer's. But don't think because it says it's white and that you don't have to paint over filled nail holes on white woodwork. It's actually a light tan and for best results (to match sheen of alkyd trim paint), you need to apply 2 coats of paint over it. My only gripe is in the limited instructions on the container which don't tell you, for example, the maximum thickness you can apply at a time and have it dry without it shrinking or cracking. Turns out a 3/16 gouge must be done in 2 successive coats.

I recently used Famowood wood filler to repair deep cat scratches on the doors in my home, and I have to say that I was highly impressed with the results. The wood filler went on smoothly and evenly, making it very easy to work with. After applying the wood filler and allowing it to dry, I sanded it down until it was flush with the door's surface. The finished repair looked seamless and was virtually indistinguishable from the surrounding wood.I was also pleased with the durability of the wood filler. The repaired areas have held up well under normal wear and tear, and they still look great after several weeks.Overall, I am extremely satisfied with Famowood wood filler and would recommend it to others. It's an excellent product that delivers professional-quality results.

First, there's a big difference between a wood filler and a wood putty. I've predominantly used wood putties in the past, and these formulations don't harden (much to my chagrin).Enter the "wood filler". This compound comes highly recommended, and rightfully so. In my experience, there was very little (if any) odor and the filler dried within 30 minutes without shrinking. I over-filled the holes in the molding and took a very gentle, 150 grit sandpaper to the excess and it sanded away efficiently (leaving a smooth surface for painting). To the extent that you're looking to patch holes in wood for painting, this should be your choice. If you're looking for a wood filler that's stainable, YMMV. Try to find the closest color match that you can (famowood offers multiple colors based upon wood types).

this product is great. It is easy apply to wood and other surfaces ,maintains its shape while drying and hardening. It cures quickly but allows plenty of working time for small jobs and can be painted to match existing wood surfaces. It can be sanded smooth when dry and cleans up easily. If applied too thickly small cracks may appear and need to be resurfaced, Best to apply multiple surfaces if covering deep cracks.I saw some reviewers claimed the pint container wasn't full and that the product dried up after first use,I didn't experience the quantity issue or the drying out issue. I did finish my containers in week or two of opening but i did notice the cover closed very tightly when secured properly

I found this wood filler easy to work with. I'm using it to repair some damage to my house siding. I smear this in the damaged areas and then press a wood grained stencil on it to closely match my siding. (The stencil I used is actually for putting a wood grain on a cake.) I wet the stencil each time I use it. There is a little pull up of the wood filler if I don't wait long enough but some sanding takes care of that. It's not perfect, (the stenciling not the wood filler), but it worked out fine. After sanding and painting the repairs are hardly noticeable. Much more cost effective than relplacing all the siding on my house. (My house is old so there is no way I would ever be able to obtain matching siding for repair work.) I did put the wood filler on too thick a couple of times and found some tiny cracks in a couple of days, but I just filled them with more wood filler. No problem. Patience. Some of these repairs were rather extensive and took multiple coats of filler. Smear some in and let it dry for a few days. Smear some more and let it dry. Final smear and stencil it. Yeah, patience. Kind of like spray painting. No patience means paint running down the side of your project. Even though I got a few tiny cracks after it dried I still give five stars as I feel that was my fault for putting it on too thick. This stuff dried hard and strong. I mean, it's really not meant for some of the larger repairs I used it for, but it worked out pretty good. I was satisfied enough that I purchased more to continue more siding repairs as well as some small repairs to the fascia.
