This litterbox is great! It’s a bit taller than an average XL litterbox but also not as long. One thing I love about this is the high walls with no separation. I have a cat that loves to pee standing up, and because of that some would leak out through the separations of my old litterbox. No problems anymore!It’s also very easy to clean with the top being able to fold up.My only reason for giving 4 star is the price. As much as I love it, the price did sting when making the purchase. Overall, if you have the money I would highly recommend especially if you have a cat who pees standing up!

This litter box is ideal. It has high, seamless sides and a smallish front entry (but plenty big enough for my cat). The cover is easily removed or folded back for cleaning. It is supposed to be used with liners, but I skipped those: because this box has square edges, it is super easy to clean the corners with, guess what, a square-edged litter scoop. I *hate* the rounded corners that nearly all litter boxes have. The included litter scoop is ok, but it's plastic, so I didn't use that either.

I could never recommend this enough for anyone who cares for a cat. It is worth the price point, no questions asked. Providing sanitary care for my babygirl has never been easier with the half-flip lid and built-in scent filtering, and the design is unobtrusive in my home. I don't feel good ethically about posting this review through amazon, but it would seem that modkat has chosen this platform for their transactions and reviews. Regardless, I %110 recommend this based on the consumer ease and the level of care for animals that is evident in the research and development of the modkat team.

Our cat has had a few different litter boxes over the past seven years, and this one is the best so far. Although it's pricey, we've had even more expensive litter boxes that didn't hold up well. This one serves its purpose really well. The top is magnetic, making it easy to fold and open, and the case is made with substantial materials. Its minimal design isn't an eyesore, and it includes a liner, making it easier to maintain a clean litter box. The height and width are big enough for our 12-pound cat to move in and out comfortably. It was money well spent.

This one is by far the most solid feeling litter box I’ve bought and I’ve had several different kinds and brands in the past two years trying to find something that my finicky cat would accept.The one box I kept going back to every time my cat decided she didn’t like a new litter box was that blue Vanness XL litterbox, I really liked the size and how tall the entrance is as my cat always pees facing the front and tends to pee on my bed or couch if she feels the litter box is too dirty with smaller boxes. The ModKat box takes up an almost exact amount of space but is actually slightly larger on the inside, not to mention it is a far nicer looking in its simplicity and far easier to clean daily with its foldable top- great if you’re in a very small space like me. In order to clean the blue box the top needs to be removed completely which meant putting it on my ottoman or couch to prevent my dogs stealing and destroying the filter sponges. The entrance is just a smidge lower on the ModKat than the blue one, but hardly noticeable.I am not a litter box liner fan, I did try it on just to see how it would sit and didn’t like how it sagged on the sides. I can imagine that my cat would easily destroy it as she spends a good few minutes scratching and pawing at the sides after using the box. I also don’t see how it would make it easier to clean, there are no handles to lift it out so if you’re using heavy clay litter it could slip out of your grasp. You’d have to wash it and dry it the same as you would with the litter box itself if you weren’t using a liner. The two things I don’t like are those little raised sides right at the corner (I’m hoping it doesn’t make those spots harder to get the clumping litter out of) and that it didn’t have a more protective packaging. For as much as it costs it would suck to have it be crushed or broken during delivery.Bonus: if you have a litter genie the ModKat scoop is works better than the one that comes with the genie and it fits in the basket well enough.All that said I still think it’s overpriced at over $100 once you’ve added up taxes, I bought mine while on sale and it still was almost $97. For comparison the blue one is a bit over $20 plus tax.

I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience with this incredible cat litter box. From the moment I started using it, I noticed a huge difference in both cleanliness and convenience.Pros:*Easy to Clean - the liners are amazing and the odor does not linger on them; they are easy to wash and reuse.*Spacious - My large cat has plenty of room to turn around.*Great Design - my cat sprays high; urine never goes over the edge of the liner or the box.Overall, I highly recommend this cat litter box to any fellow cat owners looking for a hassle-free solution. It truly made a positive impact on my day-to-day routine, and my cat seems happier too!Thank you for creating such an amazing product!!

猫トイレのサイズ、壁と同化する色、蓋付きのもの、汚物を取り出しやすいもの等の条件で探してもなかなか見つからず 何かを妥協しなければならないか と諦めかけていた時に見つけました! 使用してみると思った以上に蓋の2段階開閉が便利です。値段は高いと感じましたが 条件全てを満たしているので満足です

My cats like to kick their litter up into the air, but they refuse to use an enclosed litter box. So for the last couple of years I had been putting their small litter tray inside a large cardboard box to stop the scatter.It was finally time to upgrade when the cardboard box was scratched up and tattered...The high walls and the flip-top lid make it very cat friendly. Instead of putting the litter directly into the tarp lining (I wasn't sure how they would react to the feeling of the tarp under their paws), I decided to place their old litter tray inside. The familiarity of their old litter tray made it very easy for them to transition into the new litter box without any issues. I could probably remove the small litter tray in time, but for now its pretty easy to lift it out to clean, and then just shake the crumbs of litter out of the tarp lining.All in all, I love this litter tray so much. Worth every penny. My cats love it too.

I love this litter box. I hesitated (and even tried a different high sided box) because of the cost, but, while the other box I bought (a top entry variety), worked OK, if they hopped out toward the hard-wood floors, litter still was spread. So I finally decided to purchase this one. I have the opening toward a wall and one side about 6" from a perpendicular wall; the other side has a narrow cardboard box (the 'toy' part of what came with this one), held up to block them from coming directly out toward the hardwood floor; so they have to walk out and then down the 6" wide "cat" alley. That orientation, plus a cat mat ("shag carpet" style) keeps almost all of the litter off the hardwood floors. Sometimes they track a little and sometimes none at all (for reference I use the micro-crystal type of litter) -- ever so much better than anything else I have tried. The other pluses are that it is easy to pull the cover back and it props up so you can scoop; it comes with a sturdy scooper that is easily hung from the side. The half open top was handy to get them used to a covered box. Now I always keep it closed completely. I don't use the lining (personal preference), and it is as easy to clean as my other boxes were. Highly recommend this box.UPDATE OVER 6 Mos LATER - STILL L-O-V-E this litter box. I substituted a similarly sized but flat plastic piece for the box to block exit from the smaller size after I had used it quite a while to confirm it worked. It works better than I had originally stated - I have NO litter trail at all. It is WONDERFUL.

I like being able to remove and disinfect liner. I keep two liners so that I can soak the dirty one in cleaner and replace with clean one. I’ve a very fussy Siamese cat who won’t use a litter box unless it’s really clean!
