My cat is very old, and she started having trouble getting into her 6" tall litter box. This box was made for older cats with a lower entry area, and she is happy that she can easily into and out of the box. The box is a good size and shipping was very fast!

Great litter box!! Has high enough sides to keep cat from peeing over, good for two cats to use one box & very easy to clean! Doesnt get a lot of residue on it! Highly recommend and low front entry for seniors!!

Indispensable for geriatric or cats with mobility problems. My cat was dealing with a flare up of CKD related symptoms including ataxia and coordination problems and we had to switch his litter to one with lower walls. He also is a very large kitty so he needed a very large litter box to fit as well. This litterbox was perfect for him as he recovered. He had no problems with the height, the box is study, and it holds a good amount of litter. It's also quite easy to clean - we use clumping littler (which might not be the best) and his old litterbox would sometimes make it difficult to get the clumped pee off the sides but this one almost felt like using a brand new non-stick pan, the pee just comes right off!Great value, very sturdy, and immensely helpful for our ill kitty. Just make sure to put enough litter to cover up any odors!
Thankyou!!

This was the answer for our 17 year old gal. It has a much lower entry and is wider than regular pans so she can get in and rotate around as she needs. Happy cat, happy house.

I foster kittens for a local Cat Rescue, and my newest foster was scheduled for leg amputation. I wanted to make sure his recovery went as smoothly as possible, so I bought this low-entry litterbox for him (and a bunch of other stuff, too). It is a hard plastic - not the somewhat-flexible plastic that you find with a typical litterbox at Walmart, etc. This litterbox has a slick & shiny interior, which should be super easy to clean!! This was a bit expensive, in my opinion... considering an average litterbox is $5., but I wanted my foster baby to have whatever he needs to make his life easier. The height seems good for my kitten to walk right in. He liked his litterbox SO much that he decided he would sleep in it at first!! Silly boy! He has recovered beautifully from his surgery 💙

I have an elderly cat whose hips are wonky. She started having issues stepping into her litterbox without tripping, and started misjudging the inside wall due to decreasing mobility. This litterbox is AWESOME. She can walk right in, but the walk in ledge is high enough litter doesn't spill out. It's also very wide and deep, with good wall height. She doesn't misjudge anymore as she has plenty of room to maneuver. Also would be great for a litter of kittens! Their tiny selves can get in and out and they have plenty of real estate. I have mine in a corner of a large walk in closet. It is not small but it is lightweight. Perfect for my kitty's needs. Love!

One of our rescue cats needed hip surgery to relieve a painful joint condition. We had normal litter boxes with high sides to help prevent litter being kicked out everywhere. Well, this poor boy was unable to climb into the box, so had to do his business off to the side. We felt horrible that we had not anticipated this scenario, but did our best to makeshift a handicapped box for him. He was able to use the box for a few days we had made, but we knew we needed a better solutionResearching on Amazon, we decided upon this senior litter box to replace our pathetic cardboard emergency potty box.The build quality of this litter box is quite good. It cleans easily, and our handicapped cat uses it with no problem. Yes, there will be some litter over spill, but this is minor when considering our handicapped cat's quality of life.We highly recommend this product if you have a handicapped or senior cat in need of an accessible liter box.

It’s a very large litter box, good quality, easy enough to clean. Liked that it’s a neutral tan/mocha color that blends in rather than screams “hey look at the litter box!” The best feature is probably the low entry access for senior kitties. Took off a star because the sides are low - not great when you have a cat who rather than squats aims at the sides precariously close to the top edge. With a low, easy access entry, there’s no need for the sides to be so low. We ended up swapping it out for a box with high sides.
