I like the fact that it can read temps from the forehead or the ear (when using the forehead scan, it comes with a little cap you put over the sensor). In addition, you can change modes on it and point it at objects to get their temperature also. It also has different modes for adults and young children. This little IR thermometer is great for families.It comes with a nice cloth carrying case, instruction booklet, and batteries in a very well-protected case. As you can see, the box says it reads in 1 second. I've found this to be true, it reads very fast. You can also download the Mobi app and track temps over time (it has Bluetooth).I know this is a small thing, but I like the activation button on this thermometer. I had an old one (another brand) that the button wasn't placed well. It just didn't fit well into my hand. This one looks nice, fits well in my hand, and works great. The screen even lights up for easy reading, my old one didn't.

First the actual thermometer, it is a no touch, forhead and ear thermometer in one. the end has a plastic piece that easily pulls off which reveals the ear thermometer tip. so far we've had nothing but accuracy from it. The buttons on the side make it very easy to switch modes, Adult, Child, or substance (like bathwater, drink etc) the large scan button on the front makes taking temps in the dark or on yourself easy. The thermometer itself can hold up to 20 temps in memory.The app, i seen some reviews saying they didnt want to give information to the app, however its pretty much the smae info all apps want. email, name, birthdayI think this app wants birthday so its knows if you are and adult or child. after making my account which was simple and fast i was able to make profiles for my husband, myself and my children. if i temp without the app pulled up and on the correct profile i can add it to one later. The profiles of each family member didn't need to make an account with an email, i just added their names, birthday, height and weight. i was able to make my profile list as Mommy and my husbands Daddy. getting to each profile is super easy and fast, you just scroll right at the top where the names are listed until you get to the right name and the info below will reflect that person.under each person it will show last temp and if that temp is lower or higher than the previous temp, if the temp is normal or high and tell you the normal temp range for that personthen under all that is a measurement record that can be viewed by day, week or month in a graphand under that shows the history of temps.This is going to be so helpful when i have 4 sick kids plus a sick husband and needing to tell the kids doctor their how their fever has been. i can just show the doctor the info on the app from my phone or i can share the files to the doctors phone or email.The only thing it doesn't do but i really wish it did is let me log medications for each person as well. it gets hard especially when im sick as well trying to remember when 6 people need more meds. we all get sick at different times usually days apart (one person wakes up sick, the next day 1 or 2 more and so on) and my kids have to do breathing treatments also when they have fever. it would be so awesome if the creators could maybe add that feature to the app and then this thermometer with app would be so perfect. ive already sent the link to my sisters and mom friends. So far this one is so much better than the 3 fairly expensive braun thermometers we have

This device is very intuitive to use! We were taking temperatures within a few seconds of opening the box! No app required to use device. It includes 2 AAA batteries in the box. The screen is very clear and easy to read.It has a magnetic cover, when it's on, you can take temperature simply by holding it about a half inch away from the subject. There is an object/adult/baby setting. I believe the only thing this does is set the threshold for what is a "bad temperature" and what is a "good temperature". Pop off the magnetic end, and you have an ear thermometer. I feel that in the ear gives you a more accurate body temperature, however you probably should sterilize the end after using this, to prevent the spread of illness.I would suggest that you get a baseline temperature on yourself when you are well, as your external body temperature can vary from person to person. The app lets you record your temperature over time to help establish this baseline.You can also use this device to measure the temperature of objects, when in the proper mode. I was able to measure the temperature of my fridge, but not freezer, as it was too cold. I was also able to measure the temperature of my lawn furniture on a sunny day. I did not try to measure anything hotter then that.It also includes a cloth bag to store this thermometer and keep it clean. This will make a great addition to my collection of health-related devices. When someone says they are not feeling well, this will be the first thing I grab!

I really like my new thermometer and is a nice upgrade from my previous version. It is really easy to set up - just add two AA batteries (that are included, yay!) and you're set! Having an app that connects via Bluetooth is a nice feature to have because you're able to track your temperature throughout your illness. This comes in handy especially if you have children as they like tracking their progress also. You are able to set up different profiles in the app so there's no confusion as to who's temp is what. This thing is going to be so useful as the fall and winter months roll around as someone is always getting sick around here. I recommend this to everyone that has children or people who are always getting sick (like me).
