This thermometer had obviously previously been opened and used. The probe was still dirty. Definitely not pleased with this purchase.

I like the thermometer, it reads quickly and easy to use, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to change it to fahrenheit.

Took a minute to figure this thing out lol I wasn't expecting that but after reading the booklet ( I should have done that first) I was able to see how to work it. Once I figured everything out the readings were accurate and I tested several times. The last 2 (different brands) I have gotten have been completely inaccurate so considering the price on this one I was impressed that it seems to be on point with the readings. If you get this make sure to read the booklet on how to work it. I know it says when you first turn it on to press and hold the power button for 10 seconds then press down on the bottom of the power button to get it set up. Wait a minute or so for it to cut off then after that when you press the power button you just press once to cut it on and then after it beeps you push at the bottom of the power button to take the temp. That's what was throwing me off I was pushing the center of the button but you have to press down at the bottom of the button for it to take the temperature and work. So anyways once you figure it out this thing works well or seems to be so far and it works quickly. I really like it and hope it lasts a while.
